Warriors sale at $450 million - I'm glad it's not Larry Ellison!

Does it really matter where the damn stadium is? I live in the south bay and I cheer for the Warriors anywhere they play. Ellison has succeeded at everything he has attempted and is filthy rich as well as very competitive. This guy would have brought the Warriors into greatness but instead we may be in for decades more of losing seasons...oh well at least their entertaining right? Right until they trade Monta and Curry away for losers. Same old same old.

The Warriors are definitely the best basketball team in the Bay Area! They should sign Iverson and Shaq to challenge the Lakers next season.

I am glad whenever a team gets sold it doesn't move. Except for the Phoenix Coyotes, those guys should be moved back to Winnipeg.

It was a bargain. Teams like the warriors and raiders could use a change of scenery. Over the last 5 plus years these Oakland based teams are among the worst in there leagues. A new owner may help. i just hope the people who actually make the decisions on team personnel can keep the best players on the roster. So many Golden State players leave and find success with other teams.
