  • finally austin put that little bastard in his place

  • @LTopomcfly Are you serious!? Ron Simmons!? from the nation,. Owen Hart! from the nation. steve Austin was the epit of talent at the time, better than anything wcw could manage, as is proven, but that's bischoff for you, he didn't know how to work an obvious talent

  • 22:32 the start of what?

  • Did Stone Cold call Sable a "jig"? Ahahahaha!

  • @kwelboss think he said chick

  • Jew-Jabroni

  • Bischoff was right. WWF's TALENT pool was small. They had HHH, Taker, Rock, Foley but everyone else was trash: DX, Oddities, Nation, Headbangers. No one who could hang with Goldberg, DDP, Jericho, Benoit, NWO, Sting, Guerrero, Mysterio. WCW was No.2 so they didn't have the marketing to draw money with their stars like WWF did with Austin and a few others.

  • Eric Bischoff dont Know Shit!...no wonder WCW went out of business

  • At 10:00 Landsberg actually owned Cone Stold and caught him in his Kayfabe rant when he was pretending to diss Bret Hart. Austin was obviously taking the company line to protect his spot at the time, but he was just outed by Landsberg.

  • 8:18 "Vince Mcmahon has a tendancy to get on my nerves...most of the time i talk to him...." lmfao

  • Ric Flair didn't retire 'til 10 years later. And then he came out of retirement 2 years after that lol.

  • Great Interview :D

  • lol at Landsberg calling Steve " Cold Stone" what a ballsy Prick...

  • i Wish Stone Cold Would Give a Big Stunner to Landsberg

  • To Answer Landsberg's Question at 18:21....YES YES YES PERIOD!!!

  • FACT: McMahon had Owen killed for himself, as revenge for Bret's whining, and for Stone Cold as revenge for the botched piledriver.

Stone Cold knew that Owen's harness was gonna disconnect. And so did Vince. They both were happy it happened.

  • @EddieNeverSleeps That's one of the most stupid comments I have ever seen.

  • @Peep4Life93 It's the truth

  • @EddieNeverSleeps What In the fuck are you talking about?

  • @minstrel34 You heard me. Owen's death was planned. Both Vince and SCSA wanted him dead.

  • @EddieNeverSleeps im sorry but whats your evidence on this?

  • @dfalkwana Vince told the stunt technician to prematurely disconnect the harness.

SCSA had said he wished Owen were dead

  • @EddieNeverSleeps dude that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. that isnt evidence. thats you telling me a hole bunch of bullshit that has no concrete evidence. do you really think that vince mcmahon is that much of a bad guy that hed get one of his wrestlers killed. And stone cold never said that he wished he was dead.

  • interesting interview, though the host seemed too much like a weasel or more so than most of them. Kinda funny how wwf superstars did and not sure if they do still try to stay in character when it comes to business.

  • did anyone notice at the end Micheal was enjoying that shirt ripping a little to much

  • Stone Cold is highest grossing star there has ever been.

  • @slippyal2 Hes actually not. He beat all of Hogans previous drawing records in 98 and had a huge year in merch BUT Rock beat his drawing record in 99, then set an all time record in 00. Rock also sold more merch than Austin in 99 hence why they named a show after him and not Austin Smackdown. Sad part is Rock only had the title in 98 AND 99 as a heel and once he turned face in mid 99 he dominated. Austin even said Rock was so red hot he had to turn heel in 01 bc he was the face of the company

  • Austin is a big tough guy, but wanting to box Tyson? Sorry Steve, you would've gotten severely owned....

  • @YoungGrizzly82 No No No Remember What The Commentators said in Rocky III?? (During the Rocky vs. Thunderlips Fight) they said once that wrestler grabs that boxer that's all she wrote...

  • @romans52345 True, but I wasn't talking about wrestling, I'm talking about boxing, lol

  • Is there any footage online of that Eric Bischoff interview in 1998

  • wow did nt know austin designs his t shirts

  • @TheGuilttrip That's supirsing you've never heard that.Steve has mentioned a number of times he designed and watched the sales of them VERY carefully. He was told at WCW that with black trunks/ boots he wasn't marketable and if they couldn't find a gimmick for him/ didn't want one then he would probably need to find a new job.(used the injury to fire him) He said he designed them and watched the sales carefully so he could throw it back in WCW's face. He had the Biggest sales ever!

  • these two dont like each other

  • This is such a great interview. Austin was able to give great insight on things while being able to stay true to his character. You can't find that nowadays, which is quite lame.

  • the guy didnt shake his hand and then he called him cold stone!!!! HE DESERVES A STUNNER!!!!

  • You, a Canadian show, got FIVE emails on your first day?!?!?!?!?! And, of those 5, ONLY 5 of them said SCSA!?!?!?!?!? Email number 6 came in AFTER taping this episode, and requested Bret Hart.

  • fuck that, undertaker never goes out of character

  • Austins is going in n out of character

  • he didnt shake his hand twice! lol! thats fucking sad!

  • you can actually see steve getting pissed off at some points in this interview

  • You could tell Stone Cold was almost on the verge of tears when talking about his friend :(

That's some real shit right there.

  • @oldschool6804 How the fuck am i wrong dipshit? I stated a true fact retard.

  • Comment removed

  • @BboyHaze73 BUT YOU'RE WRONG IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT MOST PEOPLE AGREE WITH YOU!

  • @BboyHaze73

Whether I agree with you or not (it's quite clear Austin is blending his character WITH his true personality in bursts here), if you think just because you have a top rated comment (especially one with just 17 people, LOL) that this means your comment is a fact is... extremely ignorant to put it NICELY.

  • It's funny how Steve Austin don't like to job to others and try's to call his shots and everybody is cool with it, but Hogan seems to be like the most hated wrestler on the internet but Austin seems to be the exact same way, Austin seems very Stuck up, Hogan seems like more of a peoples person, hogan seems to be more of a leader, That's my opinion!

  • he so full of crap, What a lame head... he's in character!

  • @joeybrabham NO IT'S REAL YOU'RE FULL OF CRAP!

  • @oldschool6804 Vince Mcmahon has got you where he wants you!

  • @joeybrabham SCREW YOU AUSTIN WASN'T IN CHARACTER!

  • I'm surprised at Austin talking shit about Bret like that.

  • Guys I really liked watching him when he wrestled full time but I just felt that he was given a lot and started to get used to it. Apparently he had his own locker room and dressed alone. He didn't want to job at Wrestlemania 18 even though he was originally scheduled to. He didn't like mid card fueds. I just felt like he was getting frustrated because he was used to constantly being main event and often winning.

    @ themax316

I did not know he was asked to job to Coach. If true that is too far.

  • I wish austin would slap that prick

  • @nevillej2010 he's not a prick he gets the people to say what they wouldn't normally say on tv.

  • @mapleleafs294 watch his interview with cheal sonnen.. he is a prick.

  • WTF, didn't shake his hand...what an idiot this guy is

  • Is this 1998 or 2012 Austin just looks the same!

  • I actually think Stone Cold was being a bit of a baby by leaving in 2002 because he was unhappy with the 'direction' the company was taking. What that really meant was he was unhappy that he was not in the main event and was pushed in to more mid card fueds. He was too selfish. I still think he was a great wrestler but his ego was big. He wanted to be the focus of the company all the time.

  • @Wojzek No one other than Stone cold knows why he actually left or not some say he was being a baby like you others say he wanted them to do his character justice and they wouldn't others say he left because of the neck injury that ultimately ended his career but at least do us all a favor don't start shooting off about what you think his mindset was unless you had actually spoken to him about it all you'll succeed in doing is drawing a lot of heat from his more rabid fans.

  • @Wojzek I disagree. He was asked to lose to Brock Lesnar clean on Raw and he wanted to lose but on a pay per view. You have to protect your personae. HHH really abuses it. Austin did put Angle over, he put lots of wrestlers over as a heel. He was even asked to lose to The Coach....that was the last straw for him.

  • @Wojzek WOULD YOU HIT OR GIVE A STUNNER TO A 80 YEAR OLD LADY?????? THAT WAS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MADE STONE COLD GO, SO HE DID BECAUSE OF HIS CONVICTIONS NOT BECAUSE HE WAS A BABY, IF YOU BELIEVE IN SOMETHING DEFEND THAT, AND HE DID

  • "We'll be back with cold stone..."

    "No it's stone cold."

    "It doesnt matter."

Lol. This host is a real ass.

  • @boldsign Michael Landsberg has a very dry sense of humor.

  • @saspurs52 Michael Landsberg has no sense of humour

  • shoulda brought the milk truck in and sprayed his ass

  • Stone Cold looked like he was fixin to whip his ass at the drop of a hat.

  • thumbs up if you think Landsberg is one of the worst interviewers ever.

  • That guy is a total douche he talks about himself too much

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHAHA!! PSSHH!! Are you serious?

Eric Bishoff actually said, WWF is a small pond? geeze.

I agree with Steve, Eric knew that was a load of crap...

WcW was great for about 2 years but that was IT!!!!

  • god I LOVE STONE COLD......AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!!!!!

  • This presenter needs a stone cold stunner. Right to the DICK AND BALLS.

  • What a ridiculous show name. 'Off the record'. Off the record means it's not released to the public. This show's purpose is to release things to the public... so the show's name is a major oxymoron.

  • @RavenCyarm it was intended to be that way. Ever think of that?

  • @saspurs52 It was intended to sound fucking retarded?

  • @XavierXDN72892 you just proved my point their dumbas.

  • i hate this presenters mouth/lips man. i wana punch him right in the face...smug bastard

  • Michael Landsberg deserves a stunner and then a beer shower, and multiple middle fingers.

  • Who the F**K is Michael Lansberg - Hes A PRICK

    1st RATE PRICK

  • What did Austin say about Sable? Couldnt hear him...

It'd be more funnier if Landsberg kept saying What after that what.. @ 22:29

  • Comment removed

  • "It's 1998, things have changed" ... God i feel old lol, i was 15 then !, Attitude Era 4 Life !!! ;), the current product is beyond awful. Thanks for posting this interview.

  • That interviewer is a prick, fucking fag thinks hes some kind of big shot by calling stone cold - cold stone, he was lucky stone cold didnt fuck him up

  • i aint goin to toms place

  • you can see he gets emotional bout his bud plus on george tonight a cbc program after harts death he isnt as inraged

  • :55 STUNNER AUSTIN WITH THE STUNNER!

  • you can tell it was scripted when stone cold ripped the guys shirt off cuz you can see the collar of the shirt has been cut so it would be easy to rip

  • 20:58

  • SMH at bischoff STILL being naive about the WWF at the time...maybe wcw woulda lasted longer if he took his competition seriously for a longer period of time

  • Stone Cold is the only wrestler that ALWAYS stays in character.

  • @BboyHaze73 No thats how he REALLY is....just him being himself

  • @BboyHaze73 Thats cause the best "characters" in wrestling are the ones that are closest to the real life person

  • @BboyHaze73 it's not a character it's him asshole!

  • @BboyHaze73 he`s not in character, Steve is actually like this in his real life... he doesn`t have a character like Undertaker or Rock or Triple H or Mick Foley... he is like that... he talks like that...

  • yah, it does matter Landsberg. Cold Stone is an Ice Cream shop. Just learn to admit you're wrong.

  • Lol @ 23:02

"Michael Landberg's clothing courtesy Tom's place"

..., and he's sitting there with a ripped shirt like a gay stripper.

  • lol...what about sable?

    uh...chick

  • I have been watching a lot of the big name wrestlers on OTR (Undertakerr, HHH, Austin, etc) and it really has impressed me just how articulate, knowledgeable, and respectful they are in person. Whether you like wrestling or not, they are really great ambassadors for their sport. My fav sport is hockey but listening to the majority of NHL players talk, they seem to always have the same mundane and textbook responses. It's far more interesting to hear someone really speak their mind.

  • the irony bishoff haha

  • Couldn't they get Austin a bigger chair? He looks so uncomfortable.

  • what a prick didnt shake his hand at the beginning. Joke or not that shit is low as fuck

  • @Man4413 He was messing around. Get a grip you cunt.

  • @Man4413 youre right that was some bullshit.

  • @Man4413 cmon even u knw twas a joke, and i also think twas a good one, dta

  • 22:31

Stone cold ripped off his catchphrase off of landsberg

  • Great interview, Steve Austin is a very well spoken individual.
