  • it' s nice and flowery to say the least, but it takes decades to master to the level of compative efficiency especially with a blunt ans small weapon.

  • u can join some groups practicing this form in Lumphini Park early Sunday mornings usually except on raining days where they moved indoors somewhere? Some taiji practitioners migrated to Thailans in the early 40s/50s may have taught some thsi form of modified fang style many years ago.Well ! it s nice to see Chinese taiji being practised quite wide spread in some parts of bangkok and .eastern provinces

  • 好像西游记里面的蜘蛛精

    美!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree, whatever that means :D

  • it actually turns me on.

  • And then, as it is the praying mantis style, it will kill you and eat your head. ;)

  • Can I save the video in a CD/thumb drive? I am currently learning it and have difficulty remembering all the steps.

  • It's like dancing. So graceful

  • This form is 95% same as what I have learned from CCKTaichi mantis grandmaster Chui Chuk Kai in 1971,but they have modified into Taichi style!I have published this form called"Killing Fan Play" in 198?HOng KOng.May I know where they learned this form from?

  • It is taught in several schools in Bangkok as tang lang shan (praying mantis fan)in Chinese, takataen in Thai.

  • the description says beautiful ladies from thailand, umm yes i agree the ladies are indeed very attractive and pretty! but what on earth are thai women doing learning chinese martial arts?

  • Same thing as all the American women doing Tai Chi, except that these women probably know what real Tai Chi is;-)

  • Very beautiful and graceful dance! Thanks 4 uploading:)

  • is not a dance, is called ti chi or tai ji, is a martial art

  • Anyone know what this song is called?

  • So much poise and grace in there movements like bua gua

  • can i get this video downloaded so i can play it on my computer.

  • Very beautiful and fun to try to keep up with. This is a demonstration of the Tai Chi single fan. They are using Sensu (folding fans). I am endevoring into a new style of fan art, mixing fan dancing, and Tessen (Iron fan)fighting. I came accross the Tai Chi single fan performances, and thought they too would make a great addition to the style. However I plan to perform double fan.

  • Hi coparentsunited:

Oh this killing fan form is modified by you? I am a student of master Chui Kai Kai since 1971 and I have published this book in 198? May I know your lineage?

    Best regards,

    Alex

  • praying mantis is originally used today for self defense or relaxing tai chi...those who have perfected this style in whichever form can be called masters of a certain style pertraining to the true mantis. tho it isn't known where it has eben originated china and thailand have been using it for generatons apon generations. to see this is used for tai chi and relaxing the mind, body, and soul.

  • nice, another variety form Tu Honggang fan dance

  • Very enjoyable and relaxing to view.

  • very enjoyable, colourful, thanks

  • I come from China, this only is the similar TAIJI dance, China has 2 million people to practice TAIJI, but truly knew TAIJI the mystery cannot surpass 10,000 people, TAIJI is the super strong Chinese boxing, practice time very exquisite, fight time can change equally is formidable with the god of thunder, is a kind of super Chinese boxing. But the very few some people can become the perfect TAIJI soldier, the most people study TIJI only are become the study, strong own internal organs and body.

  • what does it mean "fan style"? O_o

  • beautiful Tai Chi fan dance

  • not many fan styles around anymore(atleast i dont see them) but i like to see its still around, great style

  • Taiji is called supremem boxing... it was once very powerful... now you find few who can use it powerfully... 'tis a shame...

but i can't judge these folks from their performance, I know very little about tiaji

  • nice to see

  • A bit different...

  • i <3 this fighting style
