  • the guitar riff sounds like three days grace's are you ready's chourus

  • @Wentrat, couldn't agree more mate. Not the part about the best thing, but they are quite amazing and I love the way they have progressed

  • I like both their old stuff and new stuff equally. Saw them live a couple of months back and they were just as awesome as ever. I don't get why everyone wants them to "go back". Honestly you all sound like a bunch of hipsters...

  • I honestly like Shikari's integration of electronics and post-harcore. I think theyll cut bak on the dubstep, but i agree. I wish they would make more songs like this

  • This is when it was electro not dubstep, I think "routron 5000" should step down and leave dubstep to those "40 year old rappers talking about gucci" and get back to their roots, it's self harm for them to ignore the tracks that made them famous. I saw them live a few years ago, no screams, just shouts, none of thse tracks just more dubstep than metal, one small step for Rou, no big dubstep for mankind

  • @TheJoeFaulkner So many things wrong with this...first he goes by "Rout" and it's not entirely dubstep. They ignore the tracks "that make them famous" because although catchy, after 50000th time played it got boring and they wanted to play newer material. He quick screaming like that I'm assuming because Inhales fuck your vocal cords ALOT. Sure it sounds cool, but it's not worth it in the long run.

  • @GaWeDpOo Though he goes by 'Rout' now he did originally go by the name 'Routron 5000' like on the E.P The Zone when he released a remix of Adieu as 'Routron 5000' so in theory both you and @TheJoeFaulkner are right about his stage name :D

  • seriously...if i could see Enter Shikari back in the day id literally just hand them my wallet, credit card, cash ANYTHING...they were that good and they didnt know it...and sadly they changed

  • It was an EP exclusive.

  • fuck the new stuff! seriously, this is how they should of stayed :)

  • I can't believe I've never heard this before, what album is this on?

  • Oh this is just SO FUCKING GOOD!

  • fuck i miss there old stuff is fucking dopee

  • Rou's voice sounds so young! haha

  • Oh shit.

  • Cut the mainstream bullshit, this old stuff is fucking balls sounds like every faggot emo band, there have evolved into a beautiful sound from Take to the skies onwards. What's it matter if they got more fans? MEANS MORE PEOPLE, MORE PITS, MORE SICK ASS GIGS. ALL UMAD LIL NIGGERS STFU.

  • @WillHorwell I like ham on my sandwiches.

  • @GuitarChink They allowed internet in kitchens now? Thats nice to know but how about you making your own fucking sandwich woman.

  • @WillHorwell I'm not a woman. you can tell by watching your mother, who is on the end of my dick.

  • @WillHorwell Piss of you dirty fucking racist prick. HOW DARE YOU being such an asshole on an ES video? They promote understanding between people and cultures and you come up with that shit? Just fuck off now before you further disgrace yourself and this video.

  • @DarthRelkan795 +1 to you sir, @WillHorwell is either a kid, or has some extreme retardation going on right there. Listening to (basically, I know not totally) an anti-racism band lmfao, then coming on here and acting like that, haha wow. That's fucking classic.

  • @DarthRelkan795 this comment is just full of bullshit ironic statements as a response to a troll. I can't believe you have that many thumbs up.

  • @WillHorwell Owned.

  • @WillHorwell Cool story bro

  • what album is this on?? i havent heard it and i thought i had all the albums

  • @pingponginator i think its an ep

  • 3:34 "And your black cock, and stich us back together again'

  • @teragreg Ahaa no its saying "Get your needle out and your black cotton

And stitch us back together again"

  • Babababababa baaaaa <3

  • imo enter shikari cant make a bad tune, from this to quelle

  • No, people accuse them of becoming mainstream when they change their style to become more radio friendly, which they undoubtedly have. I mean I still think Enter Shikari's new stuff is decent, but I like their older stuff (take to the skies, the zone and the demos) considerably more.

  • they should re release these older songs as a bonus disc with the new album

  • people saying shikari has become mainstream.. since when? Most of the pople, maybe all the shikari fan comments I have readen have sayed that TTTS is better, so have they gained more fans with Common? Propably few, but my point is that they totally weren't fishing any fans with Common. They made something new and fresh, this band wants to evolve all of the time, and that's only a good thing.

  • How do you know that Enter Shikari's so good? Even their bad songs are catchy and good. Not saying Jealous Man is a bad song, but yeah, you get the idea.

  • Enter is this best band ever.

  • 4 People are totally sane!!

  • @TheBalg ?

  • Go ahead and shoot us.. It´ll only takes one bullet!!!

  • Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba!

  • @HeavyWeaponsPie I didnt understand this comment at first.....half way through the song it suddenly made sense! haha

  • Old Enter Shikari is a lot better than the new Enter Shikari, however, despite this fact it can still be said that Enter Shikari are the best band on the planet, because of their studio albums, their live performances, and most importantly their passion for giving their fans what they want which is fucking awesome music and top quality entertainment.

  • having a shikari moment in the run up to quelle surprise

  • Enter shikari havn't made a bad song and who ever said enter shikari are main stream are talking out of their ass!

  • Can't fine this on itunes :'( where can i buy it???? Great song!!!!!!

  • STIIIITCH US BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.

  • if only i was 12 years older and lived in England.

  • *sniff sniff sniff* ....... ohh shittt

  • Well, on my opinion Enter Shikari is the fucking best thing I ever heard, may it be the old or the new stuff.

Of course the old songs kicks ass, but the new songs like on Tirbalism and Common Dreads does the same. I really enjoy see in wich way they progress with the music and I like the way they changed. I don't know why everybody is so disappointed about their change.

Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, I'm german and my english is not as good as it should be :D

  • @Wentrat Hey man you're much better English speaker than most of the native English speaking idiots on this site hahaha

  • Tribalism is a awesome album, especially the remixes. I'm not sure if any of you noticed but only one remix is actually done by Rou. As far as this song goes I wish I never heard it, its pretty damn weak as far as ES goes, I can however hear the evolution from this to their more recent efforts

  • I love Enter Shikari, old stuff, new stuff, it's all great

  • 2:30...... HAHAHAHAHA<333 this bannd!!!

  • I did very nasty things to that replay button...

  • This song is SO great

  • @frosteddan what? What's wrong with that?

  • @hwabc219 What What What? ;D

  • wish they still played this live ):

  • such a good song!!! and why does everybody hate the new songs and love the old or love the new and hate the old? People need to learn to respect ALL shikari songs :D

    BEST BAND EVER!

  • Is this older Enter Shikari

  • @12345678910Thompson yeh it is it was one of their first EP's

  • Still Fucking love his song. 3:50 onward is intense.

  • Still fucking love this song. so many good memories.

  • I downloaded their discography from ThePirateBay and it has everything up to the album Common Dread. All really stellar quality.

  • @SkrillaBot mind popping me the link? :)

  • WHAT A-BOUT.... THY O-THERS!

  • ENTER SHIKARI FUCKIN AWESOME BAND GREAT MUSIC

  • musicxbreaker.....cudnt agree with u more...they need far less rap elements and more guitar

  • musicxbreaker.....cudnt agree with u more...they need less rap and heavy techno......shud return to more guitar......

  • Sounds very my chemical romance... Very different :)

  • @hwabc219 fuck you

  • I don't know why they didn't put this on any albums. It'd be cool if they released and unreleased songs CD in the next year or two, since there's a lot of great songs they never put on any of the official CD's, maybe on their EP's from back in the day, but we don't get those here in the USA. But this song in particular they should re-record and put it on their next album, that'd make me so happy.

  • @XanaxHoe69 cant agree with u more.... i must get my hands on nodding acquaintance and the zone

  • its post hardcore there like adtr and bands like that. like with the singing.

  • like bc its enter shikari , not so much like because it sounds so diff from them now, but still love it !

  • Sometimes when i hear badass breakdown in a song, i tend to laugh because of it's perfection.. This breakdown made me laugh in class <3

  • OMFG OMFG OMFG <3 <3 <3 <3

  • 3 stupid people push the dislike button...

  • This was the good shikari.

  • Enter Shikari, I love you!

  • they really need to remaster this song.

  • @metal4liferawr i completely fucking agree! they should do it to every song on the EP no joke cuz with how much different Rou's voice is. We Can Breathe In Space on Tribalism is epic

  • BABABABABABABA

  • 2:28 olololol

  • 2:40 sounds like prison song by SOAD

  • 3:48 jizz!

  • shit so different from their other stuff but i love it

  • It's seems like american punk rock... I'd prefer they published more "british style" songs ..

    It's just my opinion

    :)

  • They should redo this song bc now Rou's vocie is more mature and this song would be better if it was redone.... I'm sure it would be a hit:)

    ENTER SHIKARI!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MJKava14 TRUE DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MJKava14 Yeah dude, he sounds like he's 14 here haha. Awesome song though.

  • i thought he was saying, "grow a head and shoot up" ahahahahahah

  • 3:48 OHH SHIT lol... rou does that in one of the 'low vids!

  • Holy shit that pig squealing is sick!

  • ok i love rous voice noww.. not so much this..

  • the part before the sniffsniff is just amazing, the whole song should end in there.

  • this is my favorite song by them :)

  • WTF?! It's an ok song, I'm a big fan of enter shikari but, I've never heard if this song, it's not in any of their eps or albums and it sounds nothing like rou :S, can someone please tell me when this was released and if it's real etc, thanks :)

  • @EddieV69912072 It was on an EP only sold at their live shows back in their very early years.

  • @EddieV69912072 Released in 2003. Nodding Acquaintance EP. It's really hard to get and it's something like £50 on Ebay if you manage to find it, Enter Shikari used no synth during this EP and I don't remember any screaming in any of the songs :)

  • @ChriyR 3:28 in this song... epic screaming!!

  • @ChriyR its not on nodding aquaintance its on the sorry your not a winner ep i have both

  • ba ba ba ba ba ba ba!

  • i for one am glad rou's voice matured

  • I do like the new stuff, BUT I love the old stuff. And that just because of the fact that the guitar at the new stuff is not good tuned ..you dont even hear it sometimes.

  • 3:20 fucking epic.

  • *Sniff Sniff* "Ohhhh Shit...."

  • Everytime I hear this song I just wanna jump to the chorus.

  • this was the freakin song that made me relize ENTER SHIKARI is FREAKING AMAZING!

  • my favorite enter shikari song!

  • great band

  • What was Tribalism all about? We all know that the best SHΦΚΔRΦ album was 'Take to the Skies' and the best compilation was 'The Zone' with the best EP being 'Sorry Your Not a Winner'. ΣΠΤΣR SHΦΚΔRΦ is a cult, and the more main stream they get the less true SHΦΚΔRΦ there is in their songs. Common Dreads was amazing for lyrics, so Thumper was a good song as it took from the same page, but other than the live tracks its an awful album of remixes. This song proves that they don't need a techno beat

  • @NeVerScapeTV but there techno makes them amazing

  • @NeVerScapeTV You do realise that everybody has different opinions and that a band isn't mainstream because they want to do something a bit different then what they've done for like 4-5 years. Though it would have been cool if they had this song and the other early songs re-recorded and put on Tribalism.

Btw, Tribalism was a B-sides and remix album (obviously).

  • @NeVerScapeTV yeah, but they changed :(

and i guarantee the next album will be more like tribalism/thumper

i wished they stuck to their roots, but it's their choice as musicians I guess, and at least it's pretty unique.

  • @WUTBM I preferred them as Take To The Skies out of all the changes but I guess they are progressing but there turning too commercial and are basically fitting what the majority of mainstream want and not what they got famous by; but I got to say I dont disagree with the latest album; its rather darker yet funky :)

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied I do like Common Dreads, but I think it's too much of a hange for most of the old-school fans... Yeah TTTS and the demos were my favourtie but what can you do?

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied TTTS almost topped the UK charts, Common Dreads didn't get inside the top 20! If you ask me, they've done the complete oppsoite, they've taken their sound and added/changed/developed it to THEIR wants and needs, nobody elses, which I respect!

  • @OhHiThereImOwen Yeah your right, and the best thing is it's still bloody amazing, and I love it.

Also love what Rou said before Zzzonked at Reading Festival 2010, "We are Enter Shikari and we've been abusing music genres worthless boundaries since 2003." Damn right!

  • @OhHiThereImOwen No I found out about the screaming; because Rou said he doesn't have the screaming voice which yeh I can accept; but all the new Dubstep sounds in the Common Dreads album when Dubstep starts getting played by Radio 1 like the month before; then all the dark synths! It doesn't mean it was a commercial success; I just mean they tried to turn the album more commercial with there additions :)

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied Adding more commercial elements doesn't mean they're mainstream, mainstream is completely determined by commercial success! What makes something mainstream is it's popularity, not it's sound if you ask me! Sorry if this response is slightly off track from my original arguement, I'm kinda busy at the moment

  • @OhHiThereImOwen Its fine haha, we both have our different opinions to be fair but we both agree the album is good and the argument is pretty pointless haha :)

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied yeah rou has a scream voice but his technique was wrong cos he was using his throat which fucks up your voice etc.. :P

  • @JonnyJustSpunkiied Anti-comformist fail. You're repeating verbatim what hundreds of freshman are saying about Green Day...

  • @TheShocktopus For one Im guessing your American since you said Freshman; I dont know what a Freshman is to be honest just know its something to do with a schoolkid or other!

Secondly no Im not I said I still like there new album it just is trying to catch the commercial attention with all the Dubstep and dark synths they have added in; Im not being anti-conformist at all!

Third there is nothing wrong with Green Days new change; American Idiot is one of there best albums!

  • @WUTBM Supposedly the reason why their style changed in between TTTS and CD is because Rou damaged his voice from screaming, so they moved in a more mellow direction.

  • @yeoldeshotgun What the fuck are you on about? It got more manic if anything.

  • @NeVerScapeTV Tribalism = Thumper and Destabalise

Like you said, it has barely anything but remix's which kinda annoyed me and I refused to buy it :L

  • @NeVerScapeTV Thumper + all eyes on the saint, two kick ass songs, the rest (as i think the same of the Zone) was shitty remix's.

  • @XpEAnUTBuTtERsUckSX the new songs were great off it but i the shitty remixes were awful... i wrote this i while ago so yeah, i love destablise and am looking foward to the new album so much... but i think i zone was a quality album since its still only an epic and there is a great live version of sorry your not a winner and the feast, kickin back, keep it on ice and acid nation which are all great songs.. the remix off that isnt even as bad as some stuff off tribalism...

  • @NeVerScapeTV shut the fuck up idiot

  • The word "main stream" is used by people who dont like it when the band they like has become popular. Dont you want the bands that you like to become successful?

  • snifff sniff, oh shiiiitttttt

best line in a song ever.

  • fucking awesome shikaricore !

  • Such a unique and amazing band..

  • EARGASM

  • Immense song!! I wish they'd play this live, It's my fave Shikari song :) I fucking love the scream Rou does at 4:03 :O

um...or you could call it pop-punk hahaha. this is the most typical pop-punk sound ive ever heard, wtf are you talking about? just because it has a breakdown you cant easily recognize this as easy, cheesy, welcome to the Warped Tour pop-punk?

  • @corybott they don't sound like this any more. yeah, this is pop-punk tho. listen to their common dreads album. definately not pop-punk.

  • @DeanEnterShikari NO, it's Shikari-core!

  • what album is this off?
