@gasmonkey1234 "Appears".... He didn't even make weight contact with the seat, watch the slow motion, it's all in the legs. Plus he's wearing bike shorts. You don't land on your testicles, just like your don't land on your testicles on a bike. Mountain unicycle seats are incredibly padded anyways. What is your idea of sport? Checkers? Mountain unicycling would be too difficult for you anyways, stay inside. It appears you broke your brain and common sense when you picked up the keyboard.
Okay, yeah i'm now set on getting a 29er! Nice drops! Should I get the standard 125/150 Double Hole Crank option? Is that the one that you have? You said one of the cranks allowed you to adjust the crank length by moving the pedal from one hole to the other (that's awesome!). Also, did you get the standard hub option or the titanium one with the carbon center? Does the titanium/carbon one make a difference? Thanks for the help.
@lizzieswe I had to stand there a while before I went for it! It always seems so much higher when you are up there, on you uni, looking down! But i made sure i had a good sloped landing, and not to flat. It took the drop surprisingly smooth.
I just switched from my 26" KH to my 29" KH and seem to like it more, it's faster and actually about the same or even easier for technical cross county. For technical downhill, a 26" or 24" is still the way to go but for cross country a 29" is perfect! I'm using 150mm cranks as I think the 125mm's are too short unless it's a very flat trail. Happy Riding!
@unicycle6869 Hey Jamey! I used the 150's for climbing and the drops, but the switched to the 125's for the dh on the way back and it's awesome! Just amazing how much more speed you get with the 125's, and it's still very maneuverable. I'm taking it out for a technical rockfest tomorrow!
I really hope you have suspension seatpost!! for the sake of your jewels!

Great demo of your 29er unicycle, thanks! This trail looks a lot like Sullivan Canyon in the Santa Monica Mtns. Where did you film this ride?
BruinBrass 4 months ago
@BruinBrass Yep, you're right it was Sullivan!

Well sir it appears that you broke your ass and balls on the vertical drop. This is not my idea of sport.
