I grew up listening to this song cause i used to play Road Rash 24x7 and everytime this song would come on before and after the game i'd go all like "Wow" I found this song years later...makes me so happy. Hammerbox is an amazing band..

The band could've had better luck with their career if they were to have performed this and "Simple Passing" to the biggest radio station in Seattle (whatever that one was), and then to keep playing the two songs non-stop (every night) until they rise to the top of the charts, eventually pushing the parent CD to gold status.

I was just a kid when this game came.Me and my bro would have petty fights over who would drive and who would thwack chain; playing wildly on our pentium 3 pc with 256Mb RAM.After the race i would go to the jukebox playing these kick ass songs at high volume and imitating these rock artists while playing air guitar till the song ended.Now I have high end pc config. and play some of the latest games but i think that the feeling of introductory joy which this game gave could never be reciprocated.

Yeah nowadays games like Road Rash are really simple and primitive, but back then they were the shit. And the game for the PS and 3do had 2 Hammerbox songs (the other being Simple Passing) that both rocked.
