Wasn't there a contract signed at some point to agree that space is neutral ground? I know that's true for the moon - you can't use it for weaponry purposes.

Helios 2b is not a weapon, i a spy satellite and counter of traject ballistics missiles and conventional missiles ... Neutral space treaty was just stocking weapons !

helios 2B is the second helios satellite of the new generation in 2004 the first spy NG satellite helios 2A was lauched, to replace the 2 helios satellites 1A-1B the oldest spy

But helios is not just a spy satellite class with high resolution (50 cm !)

helios is also a satellite of counting of trajectory for strategical ballistic missile, for the french nuclear dissuasion (just for france)

and conventional missiles has medium range as France and its co-users European

i've reed what you right my friend an i have to say tha that this satelite is been operating by france, greece italy and spain and gives the oportiunity to this countries to have acces in digital high resoluton photos in real time. also gives the advantage of been supperate from the american data from the american global system (GPS). Thats very importand and also the sub-strategic weapon like SCALP-EG ,
