No idea, he repaints like 3 /4 times. Maybe he's kinda mixing the paint on the canvas. It is kinda faded at the end. IMO pointless, mixing on palette is much quicker, easier.

very true, but to each his own. It came out fine in the end so i guess that's all that matters.
