  • These guys would be perfect for an old time gangster movie.

  • OMG its you have me not you hate me

  • Its you have me. i know german and it's not you hate me and omg you dumbass

  • its not u hate me its u have me and hes talk about his wedding vows not hating him

  • OMFG!!! What is it with German's and suspenders? xDDD It's so HOT!!! Till is the most gorgeous man on earth.

  • is there a german version thts the one im lookin for

  • Aslo, it's have

Because in German have is spelled hast and hate is hasst and the song is du hast

  • Is the song about wedding vowes or somin?

  • i am german, i say this, rammstein make a words play.

in german have the words du hasst, two

    acceptation of a word.

you have and you hate. and rammstein mean, you have and not you hate.

    du hasst mich gefragt,

    in english

    you have me ask.

oh and check my profile, i make german metal techno, and i have one cover from rammstein, asche zu asche , ashes to ashes..

    BLITZKILL

  • i agree with u im not from germany but i take german at class

  • You DO realize they are saying you have me...NOT you hate me...ifs you have asked me a question and I have not yet answered basically...its about marriage....just so you know

  • no they are saying hate

  • hast = have

  • hasst = hate

  • hm.. ur right :p

  • thanks I've not heard them before but my friend in Seattle raves about them

  • There is another sort of double meaning here. If the line is read as "Tod der Scheide" it would be "until the death of the vagina" and not "until death, which would seperate

  • ...What's wrong with his voice?

  • actually its you have me hast comes from haben = having

  • that is one of the meanings but rammstein was talking about someone hating them so it is true. look it up lol

    trust me i speak german

  • Oh allright, yeah I learned it at my school for 2 years, Thanks mate ^^

  • i am learnin german and what i have heard is that this song, if you watch the video especially, is about the band fighting their addiction to heroine.the lady represents the drug, and the time when the needles drop is them trying to fight it.the second one breaking means that they beat the addiction.the "you have/hate"is refering to the drug controlling or "having" them.when he talks about staying with until death he means taking heroine until they die which is countered by the nien, or no

  • There's no official lyrics, so it could go both ways. However, in the form used in the title, it's "You Have". It's used as a double meaning. :P. Use them both, put it together. ;). It's very genius work.

  • you still did a very good job with the lip sync dude very awsome

  • " you asked me to say. but i will not say " ok for all you people out there who keep saying hate and have and shit like that .. he says you asked me to say but i will not say ,, because in the clip obviously he killed the woman because she asked him if he would marry her and he didnt answer her he just blew her up .. ofcorse this is a metafore .. its to show that so many people actually want him in their tabloids but in the bad way so he says you asked me to tell about my life but he wont

  • autsch, klingt das schräg...

vom verdrehten sinn ganz zu schweigen.

  • Guys he's not saying this is the perfect translation, he just made it so that it sounded good and went along with their lips moving. I think he's amazing. His Dragostea din Tei is not a translation of the original lyrics, it's just a clever adaptation. This sounds great, and I love it.

  • it is "you asked me" and nein is "no"

  • There are several pronunciations in German to one word in English. And vice versa. One word in German could mean several things in the English language depending on the context of how it is used. I speak both languages and you have to be careful on how it is used. Hast (Have) and Haste (Hate) pronounced the same but spelled and have different contexts.

  • Hate = hasst - not haste^^

  • hast does mean have but in the english version rammstein changed it to hate because americans have so much hate for others even themselves i read it in the paper awhile back

  • i guess it means both *shrug*

  • Its a play on play words.

Du hast means both "You hate" and "You have"

  • yah i know "nein" is 'no' but in this songs english version they say 'never' so i guess they changed a couple lyrics. wonder why?

  • because this song is not about love at all and because fucking ''protestors'' can get Rammstein in news papers for ''racism'' or ''fashism'' no matter for what...then the German Government has to respond and waist the time...here is actually about.........i will write to you, just please remind me . :)

  • @WishIWereInScotland To make it flow better. The literal English translation wouldn't sound as good. They wanted rhyme.

  • i like rammstein any way

  • i know that this dose not apply to the video but during this i picked off a perfect scab off my elbow not in peices one peice

  • i think it sounds better in german

  • no its you hate -_- i think rammstein knows german a bit more than you

  • actually, there, guy, as someone else said, it's a play on words. "hate" in german has 2 s's, as in "hasst" and "hast" with one s means have... intentional on rammstein's part. i think i know german a bit more than you.

  • its "you HAVE me"

  • um.. it kinda changed back to german for a second

  • Yeah I know. I don't know why though. It would be just as easy to take it out though.

  • Its cool that it was translated to English in the first part, but I prefer the original German ver instead.

  • I agree..... their words in germane rhyme.. in English, they dont

  • rammstein isn't as good in English

  • hey man thanks for adding this rammstein is the best!
