  • Thanks...one of my immortal gems.

  • One of the greatest song composed by legendary music director Master Inayat Hussain, sung by Malaa from the Golden period of Lollywood, when it was light years ahead of its time. Lahori Munda From New York.

  • Great sharing.... Well, is this film available on DVD? With proper title and and company?

  • Always a great pleasur to listen to this Ghazal ----poetic masterpiece.

  • tarapna bhi hume ata he tarpana bhi ata he!!

  • great song.....

  • i was not born that time but i love it

  • Saw this in Shabistan Cinema, Rawalpindi in late 60s. Love all the Pakistani music of 60's and 70's.

  • i just love such a melodious voice of mala g. heads of to you. forever hit song.

  • wonderful song

  • oh wow, wat poetry and voice...

  • Sangam with Haroon, Rosi, Khalil and samitra, was the forst pakistani colour film which was released sometimes in spring 1964 as Naela was released later sometimes in october same year.

  • hamein guzri hui baton ko duhrana bhi aata hai.. tarapna bhi hamein aata hai tarpana bhi aata hai... I rank this among thye very exclusive , romantic lyrics of lolly or bollywood.. and never a composition cud have better adorned a poetry like this. i hope somone tries a remake.

  • amazing song!!!

  • Naela was the first Pakistani colour film. shamim is still around God bless her. Originally From Lahore, She lives in London. Few months ago she suffered an illness and was taken to Lahore hospital. Wish her all the best.

  • zafarejaz is right, but only i want to add that Late Santosh Kumar was the husband of film actress Sabiha Khanam.

  • such a beautiful song.. great lyrics

  • This has been my most favourite song for years ,and years.

  • correction to moakhtar,

standing man is Santosh and the person sitting is Darpan

  • My heart sorrows know how to spill out of eyes. I know how to pine and make pine.

The life I spent in his remembrance is more dear to me than my love. I will tell my tale once he comes before me. I will burn my heat while I test him in love. I know the art to become a candle in the company.

Stepping in with no sound behind me and tickling m, my getting offended and his pleasing me is still fresh in my memory. Unforgettable are the manner of childhood. I know how to repeat the old tales.

  • Who is the guy sitting on the chair? I thought Waheed Murad was the smartest hero of Pakistan but this guy is even smarter than Waheed M. What you guys think?

  • He is Santosh Kumar (Syed Musa Raza)

  • sitting is darpan n standing is santosh, top heroes of 50s n early 60s.per haps this was their last successful movie.

  • i wish to thank for this upload it just sent me down the memory lane.

  • zabardast song...... although this song is way before my generation but i love it!!!!

  • Part II

"Zindagi Beet Ga'iy, Piyar Mein Jaltay Jaltay

Ko'iy Umeed Bar Aa'iy, naN koiy Baat Bani

Dil JaloN Per Ko'iy Mehshar Sa Guzar Ja'iey Gaa

Ko'iy Parwana Magar Abb NaN Idhar Aa'iey Gaa

Ham Nein Dil Ko Bhi Jalaya tau, Siyah Raat Bani"

Today, after a very long time I heard this song and saw these scenes of Shamim Aara. It is very touching !

Thanks for the upload. Good initiative.

Good taste. Good service to others !

    Thanks.

  • PLZ can u tell me where can i got the second part of this? i mean whol Ghazal.thanx

  • I saw this film towards 1966 (or so) at the Naz cinema (off Mcleod Road), Lahore when I was at school. As mentioned in the comments, this was the FIRST colour film in Pakistan. What a great debut, and what a contribution.

I vaguely remember there was (perhaps unintended) rivalary between two brothers, Santosh and Darpan. Darpan was the loser (Alas, the poor guy).

Another very famous song of this film included these words:

    Cont.

  • @BZ99999 Oh ,yes, Around the same days , and most probably at the NAZ cinema--off Mcleod Road , I saw this movie------and fell in love with Shamim Ara , this melodious movie , Santosh, Darpan, others . Lovely days----days of MBBS in Lahore. Days are gone----gone those glorious times -------but the memory of those days is not gone---will never be gone ,-------- till my own earthly life is over.

  • Her voice is pretty heart wrenching... I know some of what she is singing, but if someone could tell me the English translation, it would be awesome! :)

  • خلاف ضبط الفت۔۔

کیا بات ہے بھئی۔۔۔ کمال جادو ہے ان الفاظ میں۔

  • master inayet was an eccentric but really the 'best composer'

  • wah bhai wah

    mogambo khush hwa

  • بہت تہذیبی رچاؤ ہے اس نغمے میں ۔ واہ بہت اچھے

  • I was watching Santosh style all the time beside listening to this beautiful song. Watch him again and agian see how he moves, how he expresses his emotions. Here is what every new actor should learn how to act naturally. Hats off to you Santosh Ge

  • i agree, santosh did great acting and it lookded natural, i must say pakistan has produced some best actors, imran

  • An evergreen song by Malaa, one of the great 'Melody Queens' of yester year's 'B&W' era of Lollywood in a super hit movie 'Naela'

Those were the golden days of Lollywood that seem never to come back again.

Picturized on Shamim Aara in her most memorable role along with Santoosh & Derpan - the two brothers & great pillars of Lollywood.

May God Almighty bless Santoosh & Derpan with peace & solace in Jannattual Firdous & grant long life & good health to Shamim Aara.

    Aameen, Tsum Aameen.

My teacher once told a joke abt her , that she announced in news paper , that she will marry the person who frees kashmir , then my teacher said , that's why kashmir hasnt been freed since , cuz he who does the feat will has to marry her then ..

  • Shamim Ara was a unique beauty and one of the few vintage Pak actresses with real grace and talent. She is a mix of Inia's Nutan and Madhubala but with her own personality. I love her and this film! She is awsome

  • @jimmynoor68,

I don't have an mp3 but I ripped it from some online music site years ago (probably muziqpakistan net or some other site like that).

  • @jimmynoor68,

The quality in the end was better than this one. Volume was amplified to a moderate level by the tool I used for recording but of course there was some loss of quality because of re-encoding.
