  • i have just finished a Aussie huey

took time but it looks sick

  • have you built it yet?

  • O.O. Dude, when I saw the instructions, it looked REALLY Confusing to me! Weren't you confused too?! Man, I was planning to buy it but if I did, it would take long for me to build it, since it confusing to me.

  • @epicnub1 I haven't built the kit yet, so I don't know if the instructons are confusing or not... :) I guess I'll find out when I build it.. :)

  • buena maqueta, buen video, espero pronto puedas hechar un vistazo a mis videos ok gracias y estamos en contacto

  • Love a nice heli kit.

Building the italeri 72 cobra right now.

Too bad no company makes a good kit of the Mi-24.

The only ones i had were both reboxes of the SAME kit wich was annoying.

both kits got trashed sadly because they were missing parts or broken :(

  • @gamerdude223 It's a great shame when that happens.. :(

  • Can you make the rotors spin and troop cabin open and close on this model, and how hard to assemble and paint is this

I am considering buying as I am a fan of huey's and also because it is hard to did USMC huey's in die cast an right colors and weapons

  • @callofdutyguy9 Not sure what parts, if any, that moves.. but I'll find out when I build it.. :)

  • probably advertising :) more people will interested this picture :) one our czech toy producer IGRA made some sport car like ferrari with aditional cart :)

  • @hanz69ova Yes, I agree.. :)

  • i dont understand.... on the model box is kamouflage with medical marking BUT armed by rackets ?? 8-O

  • @hanz69ova Yes, I reacted on the same thing.. I will most likely build mine unarmed, with the red crosses, as that should be the correct version.. :)

  • I love the old Huey helicopters and their unmistakable sound of the thunderous rotors. This looks like a great little kit. This is my year for building mostly helicopters so I have a Dragon 1/35 and a Revell 1/48 on my shelf to build.

  • @MisplacedTexan4 Yes, I love the sound of the Huey too... :) Not sure when I get round to making this though, but maybe this year at some point.. This month I'm doing a load of Spitfires.. :)

  • Quality

  • @Evilspartacus Thank you... :)

  • I'm going to build the Italeri UH-1B in RAAF scheme for my C130 Diorama...

  • @MilitaryAircraft101 That should be good.. I have that kit as well!! :)

  • at 1:16 u got spelling error "inslude- include

  • @shauntripod Unfortunately I won't be able to give you a prize, but well spotted.. :) :)

  • Another nice video and kit :) I am yet to build a helicopter and I am hoping this will be my first - if I can find it in my local model shop. :)

  • i never had any interest in plastic kit helicopters, then again they always seemed the poor cousin to the fixed wing aircraft in the model realm

  • @leokimvideo That's fair enough.. :) :) Not many people do build choppers, but they do have a following.. and the Huey has always been a favourite of mine, which is why I haven't yet built any.. simply for the reason of not being good enough! But I should be able to do a decent job of this one now.. by MY standards anyway.. :)

  • Cute classic helicopter, even considering it is a medivac-er and bring of rockety death. Have you seen 'apocalypse now'?

  • Ah, good old helicopters... :) This one looks so "temptative" both for the helicopter itself and it´s scale. So far, the only helicopter I´ve got completed is a 1/48 Bell OH-58A Kyowa (by Fujimi), which I guess is from the same period from this one. There are a few helicopters which I like quite a lot and which I´d love to come across at 1/48; I already have an unbuilt Dauphin2, but I´d also love to add a Bell 222 and an Augusta A109.

  • I can't wait to see it completed :)

  • COOL HELICOPTER x3

  • Huey is my favorite helicopter. Thanks for this review, never built a helicopter, sure fly them alot in the sim. This may shock you though, we have no Huey! No completed Huey. Everyone wants to make it but they never quite do it. We got a good Chinook though and it's a joy.

  • I´m still looking for a UH-1D(?) also known as Agusta Bell 212 from the austrian airforce. did not find it :-(

  • That looks like a fun kit! And a big spinny round bit - you know I like those!

  • @MrRandomWritings Yes, you're a big fan...

  • @BasicModelling I get in such a whirl!

  • Awesome helicopter kit bro, can't wait to see you build that up. Looks clean & easy to assemble. Are you still sending out prizes from the model contest? I was just curious. Thank you for sharing this kit, hopefully when you put it together you won't run into any major issues. Keep up the great work, peace!!

  • @cwazmann1 I haven't started shipping the prizes yet, but will do so as from this week.. I can't find your prize anywwhere, but I haven't got round to look under the bed yet, and I hope it will be there.. :) As for this heli, it should go together without problems, I hope.. it's one of my fav helis, and I have been fortunate enough to see a few over the years.. :)

  • i gotta try some of those hobby boss helis... they look very good

  • @svinehunden They ARE very good.. as usual there's a few issues, but nothing major.. and they go together very well! And at least they're PROPER kits, unlike their easy kits.. :)

  • @BasicModelling i'd like to make all the attack helicopters i can find (: they have a lot

  • Looks like a nice model. I've always liked the 'Huey' and I think building the Vietnam casevac version would serve as a great memorial to all those brave pilots who risked their lives evacuating wounded soldiers, sometimes from 'hot' landing zones...

  • lol! i was just finishing the revell huey kit! really nice model you have there!

  • and who will build it?

  • @fmcVlad I will.. but not sure when yet! :)

  • That looks a nice little kit and it should be for twelve quid! Looking forward to the finished article!

  • @MakingModelsAgain I'm quite tempted to get it built, actually... Sadly I can't find a set of decals for a Swedish Air Force Hkp 3 anywhere, but I'll probably build it as a Vietnam era 'casevac' heli anyway, as that was the original plan for this kit.. :)

  • lovely vid, its thank 2 u mate ive started scale modelling u deserve a thumbs up

  • Nice vid, looks to be a good kit :) also gr8 choice of music ^^

  • Can you have the door open and have the rocket tubes and the miniguns on together?

  • those models are really expensive in my viewpoint...:)

  • I like the look of this Heli Rob !

  • um, you spelt manual wrong :P naual?

  • @cowman850 Yes, I did the video in a bit of a rush.. :) I sw several more speling mitsakes.. :0

  • Thanks alot rob, i shall definetely buy it!

  • @FinlayO I think the basic kit is the same for most, if not all the HobbyBoss Huey kits, but they have different decal options.. :)

  • @BasicModelling I know, all the huey kits are exactly the same, but im struggling to decide which one i shall choose, the uh1c or the uh1b...

  • @FinlayO If I were you I'd go for the 'C' version with the shark mouth.. :) I want to build the rescue / casevac version anyway, which is why I chose this kit.. :) Mine will be totally unarmed...

  • @BasicModelling Yes i thought so too but i like how on this one it has the USAF emblem and the "ARMY" decal, the other kit doesnt have that, but it does have the shark mouth...

  • när jag der huey helikoptern så kan jag bara höra fortunate son i huvudet!

  • Very nice model..:) i must have it.

  • My friend bought this, but his wife binned it, by hell he copped her!

  • @stanwull HA!....nice dad joke...
