This is my favorite song by ben folds five! I love all of their stuff but this album and song have to be tops for me. The album as a whole follows a specific story. Yet this song just peaks out as a beautifully written and orchestrated masterpiece!! I especially like the fact that you can even look at this song in two ways. The tragedy of having physical narcolepsy. While you can also imagine it as emotional narcolepsy, which many many people have. Just pure beauty and sadness all around. TY Ben
This song came at an interesting point in Ben Folds career, when he started to experiment more with electronic and orchestral sounds. I still think that this is one of his most epic songs.
