Sri or Shree or Sree or Shri- A term or respect that means sacredness, abundance, beauty, grace, and auspiciousness, and signifies mastery of all these. After the symbol Aum (ॐ) and Swastika, Shri is the most popular symbol used in Hinduism.
shri has two meanings, 1st it means topmost power of lord under which all other his power resides, so sita/radha is the supreme power of supreme personality ram/krishn so if someone says shri ram or shri krishn it means sita-ram or radha-krishn, 2nd shri word is used to give respect.
@guckenberger ..sita is a sanskrit work.. seeta coming from the root word seeth.. which means plow... farming plow... therefore seeta appeared by the motion of the farming plow.. therefore given the name sita.
@guckenberger when king janak was ploughing his field with a golden plough at that time he found a baby in a box under the earth, so he found that baby by the action of his plough, n in sanskrit the corner of plough which is used to plough the field is known as " seet" so he found that baby by its action so he named her as "seeta" who is the topmost power [hlaadini] of lord came on this earth to do leelas with him.
I see what you did there with the length of the song :)
