Watched them throughout the late 80's and 90's until his untimely death. I still miss them. Most beautiful couple on the ice and off. These were the best times, so happy I got to live them!
I am a retired skating teacher and will always be Irena Rodnina greatest fan she with Zaitzev were my insperation then along came Gordeava and Grinkov so fantastic and so in love they also took pairs skating to another level,she was so so so tiny and skated so big,what a tragic story and Kaja showed such courage i was so lucky to know them all thanks for keeping this alive
Hi, the song is sang by Polina Griffits (Полина Гриффитс). I thought it would be perfect for this video. Yes, I am a G&G fan as well. Unfortunately, I became one in mid 90s, just before Sergei's death. I wish I paid more attention to figure skating before that. :(
Me too...I became a fan in 2002 when I was 14 after reading the book and watching the film "My Sergei" which has since then become my favourite...so I am also more of a 'retrospective' fan of G&G, but I am definitely a fan of Katia- as a person and as a skater. It is Katia and Sergei that made me LOVE the sport of figure skating. There will never be another pair like them...

I remember when Sergei died. I was so shocked. I 'm grateful to be able to take a look back at such accomplished skaters.

im 17 and just becamw a fan in 2007!!!...also means that i've never seen them perform when sergei's alive.....*sob**sob* i'm in Asia
