There... is a food item called... the Smoralicious.... they advertise not to eat one all by yourself, for you might die. My half was delicious. Egg roll injected with chocolaty whipped cream, covered with chocolaty whipped cream.... with chocolate syrup on top. I'm guessing this as an average treat will pretty much ensure you will not have any "Golden Years". Gunnar OUT!

Very nice indeed. There are however a certain number of odd things, that I guess matter little when it's all about having fun. The young gentleman who hosts the video, dressed in Elizabethan (not even Henrian) clothing, and his dame dressed in 14th century ones, talking to crusaders from Richard Lionheart's time, listening to Baroque music. A very quantic-renaissance I'd dare say, but very nice anyway :)

That's why it's often thought of as a Medieval Fantasy Festival. However, since Renaissance Festival is considered to sounds better that's what it is. My parents own the tall jewelry booth near the front gate. Needless to say I practically group up at this festival.
