  • Keep up the good work and more charity to be found.

  • they actually changed color while moving...

  • It seems like color has changed while moving...Strange...

  • no idea how that worked O_o .... I'm impressed xD

  • @JenWithThePen

it didn't. They're two different colors.

  • they're still different

  • @6packjellyrolls

    FINALLY someone else sees it.

  • i said yes because i've heard of this principle before

  • There actually a little different

  • woot i said yes (because i chose oppisite my mind told me)

  • aha.. that was nice... it because the grey one on top is surrounded by white tiles, and the gray one at the bottom i surrounded by darker grey tiles ( or at least thats what i believe )

  • they look different when right next to eachother one looks gray and one looks white

  • damn brain's are tricky.. I was looking for mindbender by the grateful dead but good video none-the-less.

  • its a trick

  • he's a witch!!!!!!!!

  • this is stupid!!!!

  • blasphemy!

  • loll he gave us the finger.. f that guy

  • @Andymac175 lol

  • I love this stuff! An illusion. Hmm. Maybe free will is an illusion too. The minds ability to fool itself?

  • They Just Change The Brightness On The "A" Square While Moving It So Its Not As Noticable <.<

  • @TheConduitKing

Cute, but no, this is a real trick. I've seen it in my "Optical Illusions" book :)

  • haha fukin madness!

  • witchcraft lol

  • whoa now thats weird

  • its the green piece that makes you think their different ...put you're hand over it and see haha

  • I put my hand over it and it was still different

  • It's Black Magic!!!!! hahaha....just kidding. That's cool. Is there a website that I can print off that image, I like to show stuff like that to my nephews so they can try to figure it out on their own. (Home Research)

  • u cant see the contrast so i think they play with it a bit and make youre brain believe they are not the same colour

  • I believe its just a natural compensation mechanism in your brain. Your brain notices how the B square is in a shadow and so, taking note of this it compensates for it by making it look lighter.

  • "it's contrast" lol seems to me if you take any two colours and put one in the shade, the other in a bright light, they will look like different shades of the same colour. when they move A, they move it from light into the shade, then back into light.

or am i totally wrong? :D

  • it's pretty fake....i do think that they change the color options,...

  • try it yourself in paint or something like that.

  • haha he flipped me off

  • Nope. The one marked A changes its density as it moves.

  • its the greens contrast

  • you retards think its fake...only focus on a and b and you WILL see that they are the same

  • it is not a camera trick. It is a typical illusion.

  • no, your the stupid one, look up a picture of this and see for your self.

  • seriously wtf?

  • I took a screen shot of this video at varying stages during the start middle and end of the clip. Check it our at 0:18 seconds for instance. Is this, in fact, not an illusion but merely a consequence of the higher spatial frequency of the video compression from one side of the image compared to the other? Other than that I havent a clue.

  • that hand at the beginning made me chuckle a bit.

  • he flipped me off

  • wtf

  • well if any one of you dumb shits noticed both of them are in the shade of the figure its simply just shadeing and angle

  • You got to see the things on the left of the A and B

On A there is a white one, who makes the A looks darker.

On B there is a black one, who makes B looks lighter

Then when A and B collide the A gets a little lighter, and B gets little Darker.. So they are same color :D

  • Cover the cylinder with your hand and you'll be able to see A and B as the same shade of grey :p

  • If you want to test this, take screenshot before he moves anything (about 00:05), and paste it to MS Paint or similar. Then pick color from A and draw to black area and then same with B. Then you see how it is.

  • i think it looks different from it's surroundings

  • you can see 'A' turns a lighter shade of grey about 3 times in that one second you moved it. Could be just the camera though. I would have to see this in person to believe it.

  • All you have to do is stop focusing and stare at the corner of the page.

    You will very much notice

  • Its looks that way because the A box is surrounded by lighter colored boxes and B is surrounded by darker colored boxes. Giving the illusion that one is darker than the other.

  • If you look at the screen at an angle, you will notice that they are both the same shade of grey.

  • like some other ppl here said, it's bc of the cylinders shadow. It doesn't have a shadow, the tiles are just discoloured to make u believe it's a shadow bc that's the most logical explanation. Try it again, this time forget the cylinder completely by covering it with your hand or a piece of paper. see it now? ;)

  • aaaaaagggh my brain!!!!

  • WHAT DE FUCK

  • what a dick

  • I saw the color change on square b as you moved it!

  • not true get a print of it an cut them out its fukt up trust

  • HOLD ON I GET IT WRONG!!! right what it is, well i was right in a way. right pause the video at 0.25 and then block A out. now focus on the A while taking the video backwards, then it keeps the same colour! but look away at a thn back, it will change! Weird!

  • another eye illusion, ever watched optical illiousion videos? with the pink and yellow? exactly same as that, your mind tries to focus on them and doesnt relise its the same.

  • i saw they were the ame color i jsut focused my mind and saw that they were the same color

  • Why are you getting thumbs down on this comment? That's the same thing I did and it's easy to see that they're the same color. In fact, you don't even really have to focus too hard, just look and you can tell.

  • its the shadow of the cylinder that make it darker and a its coming closer to us the lighter it gets :>

  • Its because the shape is getting in the way so it makes it darker by shadow O_o

  • lol - u think the cylinder is 3d & real? it is part of the 2d image on the right

  • it is 3d and real you dickhead, check out the website.

  • ur argument is impressive - wow look, u even swore. problem is ur still wrong. i ask u, if it is 3d, then why does the shadow move? read the website carefully, its an illusion! lol u shame us Liverpudlians

  • know any iq test sites that are free my man?

  • yeh whats this song?

  • shadows, i think. i mean, what is the green cylinder there for?

  • thats pish

  • it got me :D

  • WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if u blur ur eyes they will look the same colour

  • Whats The Song ??

  • Your brain thinks that B is under a shadow thus us thinking the colour i lighter, as simple as that

  • I thought it looked the same lol

  • Shadows are the answer, I think.
