  • I really enjoyed this! :) Also reminded me of how many times I went to see a film based on the trailer and was "unhappy" with the film which I probably would have liked it if I never had any expectations at all. Just goes to show the power of editing! Well done!

  • Loved it, waiting for the sequel. I will remember this trailer each time I watch this movie.

  • This is just so clever - I loved it. Well done! I have the movie and won't be able to watch it again without remembering this trailer for its 'evil twin' of a movie! Great job!

  • You know what, if I hadn't seen the movie before this then I'd definitely be able to believe this trailer. I can tell you took a lot of time into making it because of the perfect scenes your picked for the implied portrayals! I just keep getting the campy version stuck in my head everytime I try to trick myself into believe this trailer is the real deal.

    The power of portrayal!

  • I love this movie...both the original and this fun trailer cover. Nicely done.

  • Oh my fuck, I'm blind. Oh wait, no I'm not, it was just ALL THE FUCKING WHITE DISSOLVES.

All the parts that weren't white were actually good. Amusing offbeat trailer to a funny movie probably only hardcore Sandra Dee or Bobby Darin fans even know about.

  • If you dislike something, but respectful with your critique. I'm an adult and don't appreciate to be spoken to any other way.

Aside from that, thank you for the comment. Hope you had a good Valentine's day. :)

  • I could apologize, but my heart wouldn't be in it, and I won't do you the disservice of an empty apology. I could say you shouldn't take what I said so seriously, I sure as hell didn't when I was writing it. But instead, I'll say I had a lovely Valentines Day, thank you. :) Hope yours was just as great.

  • Nice!

  • haha dude i wish this was real haha it was really good!

  • Oh I love this vid !! Great job!

Always thought that Bobby and Sandy would have excelled when paired in some juicy dramatic roles together. That is why this video is so special. Thanks for making that happen, even this long after their day.

  • what the hell is this? This is a great movie. about love and you made it into something weird. this was back when they didn't have weird things like they have today. leave bobby darin and sandra dee alone

  • I own this film, I'm a huge Bobby and Sandra fan. The film is great, your comment is rude and childish.

Maybe the films weren't like that back in the day, and the people have changed to, you just proved it.

  • See Psycho.

  • This is sooo good! I love the original movie but it's always fun to put your own "spin" on it!

  • Great job, Sarah. I have this movie and you've created a premise of something I now WISH they had done... a suspense thriller starring two of America's sweethearts who are playing soooooo against type. lol ; )

  • Brilliant. I actually forgot I was watching clips from a romantic comedy and started getting heart racing goosebumps. Wish you had been around to write and direct BD and SD in a Midnight Lace/Dail M type thriller. Ohh, what a delicious murderous hubby Bobby would make. Almost makes a gal willing to be his victum.

  • Oh btw, you thought he'd make a good psychopath? Watch Pressure Point - Darin is cute, but he's always quite creepy!

  • haha this is great - love bd and sd!

  • ...always had a secret "thing" for Powers, myself! What is it U R doing exactly...just replaying this film in serial?

  • Hmmm.... which one? Sandra Dee or Stephanie Powers?

Ehhh... why choose on a fantasy? Both!! Sandra came wearing all white, and Stephanie all black. And they both brought me Venti White Chocolate Mocha quad shots from Starbucks to enjoy as I watch... "the show".

    I love your videos.

  • Ha ha, well if it were my choice, I'd pick Sandra. But that's just me. ;)

Glad you enjoyed, "the show". Bobby would make an amazingly cute little killer. Heehee, is that creepy sounding? Oh well! :D

  • No, Ha! Not creepy sounding at all as long as he sticks to bunny rabbits.

  • Sarah this is brilliant, I am going to check out Bobby Darin's films. I can't wait till 2008

Happy New Year my good friend.

    James

    xoxo

  • The SUSPENSE! The DRAMA! What will happen to Sandra Dee?! What's Bobby Darins PROBLEM!!! Find out in 2008.
