@Pantherman1979 Dude, he was agreeing with you. And you tell him to pay attention to what you wrote? and you threatened to block a dude because he made a joke that went against your opinion? I know you're probably going to block me. But youre a dick.
@THX5569 I've seen them run anywhere from $500 in need of a rebuild, and $2700 with a recent rebuild, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find them in the breakers, they either take them for personal sale (higher visibility sale since they are becoming popular) or they are taken from the vehicle prior to being scrapped, for roughly the same reason.
Keep an eye on the "Auto Parts" listings on Craigslist, but you'll find them all day (and find good deals on them) on eBay.
I couldn't tell, text carries no emotion unlike voice. And yes, I have been attacked locally (in my neighborhood) for being "Un American" for making my own fuel instead of buying it.
@Pantherman1979 "Un-American" for making your own fuel?!? Bullshit, I make my own fuel, I personally run WMO (Waste Motor Oil) in my diesel, so much for being "American" if your not "Free" to make your own choices.....I think making your own makes us MORE American, why? Less individual dependency on foreign fuels, being Bio-Fuel that you run, it's actually better for the environment, It's renewable, it does less damage on the earth and it's cleaner.
@CumminsDave92 well thats retarded thats like telling a hunter that using steelshot for dove is in humane where its less destructive to the enviroment
yes alot had the 6.2 diesel and the 6.5 , the 6.5 was a turbo. .... would like to find out more about the 7.4 myself. .ty as far as it's appication to the p30 and if it's electronic?? and compatible with the 6 speed allison auto trans.
Old FedEx truck, they're also found (more commonly) in the Doritoes P30 sidestep delivery vans and the Wonderbread delivery vans. Of note should be it's only those vans that had a gasoline to diesel conversion and some of these vehicles also got the Chevy (6.2 I think) diesel in them, that even had a Cummins 4BT in them
Depends on who you like and what you want, the engine's supposed to weigh 750lbs dry, the 2 ton hoist belongs to a friend and he said it was close to $600-$700.
I was looking at 1 ton hoists that where closer to $400-$500
It set me back $1600, only 250,000K on it and I'm going to put it in a Chevy S10 Blazer once i get the body. I'm using a Ford ZFS5-42 transmission instead of the transmission that came with the Blazewr, as it'd be too weaek for the 4BT

Crankin it on a picker? Nice!!!!

I've never heard the term "picker" before. IT's a 2 ton engine hoist.
The 4BT only weighs in at 750 lbs
Pantherman1979 3 years ago
