Did you ever try Beastman? The best racer, I believe. He can reach speeds of well over 2000 km/h with an experienced racer, and his steering is tight enough to handle those speeds. That being said, it would seem that tight turns would be a problem, but if you hold both triggers and drift, he can handle them with ease.

I still have this game, and if it takes seven years for them to make a remake of the same exact game, me as a consumer will not buy, regardless of any extra additions. A seven year wait demands a seven year investment in something better, not more of the same.

@wrestlingluva Well, either find one of those f zero ax arcade machines (which is virtually impossible, since there are literally only five in existance) or do what shiryu said and beat story mode on Very Hard mode, which is equally impossible.

@wrestlingluva you beat each story mode chapter on very hard for one ax chracter theres 10 really one is unlocked upon all chapters done on hard mode (spade) you also get 3 ax custom machine parts for each lvl done on hard. unlock the ax cup by beating ruby cup through diamond cup all on master class... you have to buy the tracks from the ingame store separetly to form the cup itself theres a last ax track only in practice and time attack mode which you get by beating the cup on any class.

On Master, the game chooses one racer to stick to your back, so that if you make one mistake you are passed up in about two seconds and have to fight for first place again. Even when the racer is selected should be slower in the given scenario no matter the difficulty level (for example, how the hell is the Astro Robin supposed to keep up with the Hyper Speeder on Cosmo Terminal). Of course one one wins anyhow, it feels all that more satisfying.

Well, I agree with that, but I think it's also part course based as well. For example the Fat Shark, Deathborn one, Black Bull and similar racers will be in the top 5 on courses with few turns (Cosmo Terminal Trident, Sonic Oval, the diamond sand ocean course, and a few others), even if they are not your rival.

My review of this game:

Graphics... A. Amazing graphics for a gamecube game, and I mean that.

Sense of speed: A. Don't you see that scrolling ground? Holy crap!

Controls: A. Well, FINALLY someone makes game that has cars that drive like cars, not fucking bobsleds on ice.

Racing game: A. This is better than most racing games for any other console, INCLUDING the Next-gen ones. And the 360. F-zero's winding tracks makes it feel all trippy, and who doesn't like that? :D
