  • wooooww niceee

  • nice smoke bomb

  • his wife sounds hott

  • thats so cool

  • Why are you so far away from it? Terrible camerawork.

  • What type of STRING...on the Bow is used please

    nyczoey@y thank you

  • @villagefem Fishing line is the best but anything will work. You need to string it around the bow multiple times, I had 6 wraps of the fishing line for better grip in the drill stick.

  • @andyandvirg I need to know how to make fire without using the string .....supposing you were in the middle of a forest with your girlfriend and you needed to keep her warm, then you just remembered gosh " i left my strings at home". How will you make the fire without the strings.

Thats why I'm interested in knowing how to make the fire without strings because you wont have a string with you everytime....thats a certainty.

  • @RobertsDigital Shoe laces, clothing strips or bark plaited into a string, long straight stick to spin between your palms - but that takes 2 people taking turns. To be honest you need to remember to take the string, or matches or lighter for that matter. Or get a girlfriend that doesn't feel the cold so much.

  • @villagefem fishing line

  • 0:10= and now my journey begins, 0:50= shit my string broke but i managed to catch some sparks! 1:25= remember kids dont try weed at home.

  • fire making 67!!! ;D

  • @TPapania No, seriously, I was using Amer. urban slang to refer to the man as a "bitch" - not to the woman in the background. In all honesty, the word in this context is the equivalent of "person". It's the same as "thug," "niggah" or "ho," which in certain contexts simply mean "person". It was a joke from the start - & I think those posted the video understood this: hence their reply was neutral. Also, I never referred to YOU as gay, I referred to MYSELF as gay; the other details r also true.

  • @TPapania - You display that detestable, ignorant machismo one associates with uneducated, peasant Aussies: the ones who misinterpret any statement whenever possible so as to obtain the thrill of threatening "I'll knock your teeth out, wanker!"

  • @infantry031 You also wash your mouth out or I will tell your mother what you get up to on her PC while she is out

  • @Firestormify Wahs yoiur mouth out you animal

  • @TPapania When I used that term in my 1st post, I was referring to the man, not the woman. It was a joke - as I had previously stated. The original posters of the clip understood that and commented neutrally. It was foolish of me to have stooped to your instigation - however, what I said was true. Please: why would anyone who wanted to defend his "macho" status claim to be gay? If I have time to be behind the screen, clearly you do as well. Your assault was unprovoked. This is just nonsense.

  • Hatr! hatr! XD

  • sweet

  • @Firestormify you cant spell and she is australian, honestly who the fuck is incompetent now buddy. you are without a doubt from america, do yourself a favour and mute yourself hoe.

  • Comment removed

  • Cool. One day I'll try it.

  • UG like

  • @nickin11p2 Good description. However, this technique also requires a bit of skill with the blowing of the straw bundle and what not - which I guess all of them do. Do you have to make a certain shape with the straw to cultivate the sparks inside a hollow? And which would you ultimately characterize as the easier technique for the stranded soul: this or flint striking?

  • survivorman style

  • @Firestormify Not English, Australian my friend. My brother, who taught me, has also taught Australian Aborigines this technique.

  • @andyandvirg That person is so INCOMPETENT, they can't even spell it!! lol

  • @andyandvirg So... ow is that a woman?

  • Comment removed

  • @musicalidea Plan ahead. Collect materials over the day. Shoe laces, fishing line, backpack draw string. Take matches maybe.

  • @musicalidea Surivor man did this to whit a bow. he had nothing before and stil managed to make a fire bow like that.

  • right on guys :)

  • Taukotoni it's coal

  • Could you give step by step instructions? it'd be much appreciated :) btw nice job making that fire so quickly aha

  • What is that powder that comes out after you remove the vertical tick?

  • Thats the fastest I've ever seen anyone do that befor

  • this man would survive out in the wild.

  • making fire. the indian way

  • +1000 MAN Points.......LEVEL UP!

  • @akaTheWave Very funny

  • @akaTheWave ROFL xDDD bonga bonga peaple from the jungle.

  • @akaTheWave +11111111111111111111111111111111111111

  • really cool video i liked it but i dident like the guy in the back ground

  • @Rubiksdude1000 I liked the guy in the background so much I married her!

  • @andyandvirg I think he's the only one who might have thought it was a guy:) I love how you said outback (of my garage)

  • @andyandvirg im so sorry she was close to the the mic and kind of sounded like a guy no ofence

  • @andyandvirg are you gender confused?

  • I once manged to start a fire while beating off. There was pubes and smoke everywhere!

  • impressive

  • @slickbuck1 Well we had heaps of fun, sorry if it offended you.

  • @slickbuck1 you call him no lifer? you, who has not better job than bullying random people on the internet? Sir, you suck the big one

  • Just in one minute, wow, I did for 10 Mins but no ember, it just got a lil warm and then I found out that I was using the wrong wood, I was using some kinda wood that was oily.

  • I try this using the hand drill method and I get tons of smoke but the dust never turns to an ember, makes me very sad : (

  • Years of jacking off has come down to this

  • Hey!!!!! I saw the hidden lighter!

  • Is he doing what I think hes doing?

  • Wtf is this guy doing with that shortbow :/

  • cool

  • in two minutes, impressive

  • he must be good at masturbating

  • i almost made fire today by rubbing a stick against some dry old type wood, wore me out got very frustrated, what kind of string are you using and how tight does it need to be?

  • @42cody1 I have used fishing line and poly prop line. It does need to be tight on the bow then you wrap it around the drill so it gets even tighter. The fishing line eventually heated up and broke. Using 6 fishing line together.

  • @42cody1 do you tech in any school

  • AND HE CREATED FIRE

  • @pharmajoe990 That's about how it felt too.

  • That was great man

  • Nice

  • good job man

  • Great job, very impressed.

  • Great job Buddy, I am still not at that point but it sure is alot of fun trying. I am truly impressed by how much fun you and your wife are having, It makes alot more than fire, It makes for some great times together too. Great job, I hope you post more vids.

  • FREAKIN A!!!!!

  • it would be awesoem if you made of video on how to do it step by step. LIke how to cut your holes for the fire board and were to put the kindling

  • that was so cool and it looks like fun

  • and then there was light.

  • What kind of wood were you using for the fireboard and drill? Thanks.

  • @burnproof21 For the drill I have tried fallen palm frond (carved into a dowel) and beech or pine dowel, and the fireboard is crab apple branch. Pine worked OK too.

  • WHY ISNT SHE IN THE KITCHEN MAKIN ME A SAMMICH?

And he must be good at jacking off.

  • @sgftkd Thanks for your valuable contribution

  • I like the woman in the background cheering on. That was really fun and funny to watch! Good job! ...... Now I have to try it with my wife watching , maybe she will get in some kind of mood that will be good for us. I MADE FIRE HONEY! LOL . Your video made me laugh , it was good!!!!!!!!!

  • if your in the wild use shoe lace

  • lmao there was smoke coming out of the fucking handhold.

also ur glazing the hole when it squeeks, need to make it fit better.

  • lol did this at a barbeque except it was on cardboard and it wouldnt go out probably because it waws windy thatt day and it was flaring

  • Nice I already knew how to do that but awsome. By the way you and your wife/girlfriend are an adorable couple. :)

  • bravo, you're about the first one I saw actually do that!!

  • wwoooooow in less than 2 mins??? skills :D

  • Nicely done mate!. I was just reading about this in the SAS survival manual.

  • @jazzflutist cheers mate ;)

  • could you use pine needles to keep the ember

  • @1TheMusiciansShadow1 As long as they were dry..Yes.

  • when making a fire with sticks do you need those grass or leaf thingys where you put your shavings in

  • @goku71000 Yes you do. They are to hold the glowing ember and must be dry enough to catch alight when you blow.

  • squeaky sticks! LOL

thumbs up if u heard those sticks go!

  • every time i try this the stick that u put to make the fire part doesnt move can u tell me how u make the stick spins?

  • @AZNRICENINJA The bow needs to be tight and the line needs to be pretty tight and there's about 6 loops of line on the bow.

  • @andyandvirg

ahhh, that might be my problem......tighter bow

  • Do you need rope?

  • @MrCheeser124 Fishing line, cord or plaited reeds will do. My brother stripped threads from his T-shirt and plaited them.

  • That's cool :) Your feet are huge, just like mine.

  • @hondac55 Ha, you noticed!

  • all that masturbating sure showed results! :D

  • why would you put your face that close to something thats smoking?

and why would you hold what your trying to light?

  • @animegirl34 Better results. Hold your face 10 feet away from the tinder and blow, without holding it and see if your fire lights. mhm. That's what I thought.

  • Did u ever make Eagle Scout?

  • @ClamChoder910 Cubs is as far as I got.

  • thats a clasic way

  • your goin bear grylls style, :D

  • firemaking level?

    xD nice dude verry nice

    my level? 99,9 xD

  • Andy your a man of great character. Most people would of responded to superfoot with profanity and insults.I dont know you but your my kind of people.

  • @jaidyn424 Thanks for that, I was trying to provoke him a bit. Turns out he's OK, just young and impetuous.

  • Nice! This is much harder than people think and they realize it when they try it themselves.

  • i cant seem to get a coal, i can get the board and spindle smoking like crazy but all i get is brown dust. any suggestions?

  • Thw woman in the background sais what maybe 5 things??? Plus, she was giving verbal instructions to us that were absent from the fire maker himself. If you dont like to hear people talking in videos then turn your speakers off and shut the fuck up!

  • this is cool :)

  • Wow nice you did that in 1:38. Very nice.

  • okay, see, this is cool. If I ever get stranded on a deserted island, I'd want you to be there.

  • yeah what was that under the branch you were holding down with your foot?

  • faster ,Faster, FASTER no wait make 2 loops on the stick

  • Very nice job, you set out to make fire and did so. cant really se how this could be a failure. And you wont survive long with infected burn blisters all over your hands you know. Real men hold fire with respect, thus letting it go before it burns them.

  • awesome dude! your the man!!! loved the ending where you almost lit yourself on fire and your lady cameraman is lovely with all her encourgment.

A man who can survive by his own resources is free.

  • wow your a failure, either you were applying too much pressure to the stone or something because it shouldnt have been making that squeaking sound, if you were doing it correctly you would have been able to make the fire A LOT faster. Ive actually made one in less than thirty seconds using the same materials. and you were probably breathing too soft because it took a while to ignite. and in my culture, the way you threw the fire shows that you are a coward, true men hold the fire with respect

  • Thanks for your comments. I'm happy to be thought a coward and have unburnt hands. Please show us how it can be done in 30sec.

  • @andyandvirg i really want to but my camera is out at the moment but i promise that as soon as i get a new one, ill upload a video and show you how its done XD but i actually used yucca instead of the home made stuff

  • @SuperBrokenfoot I used whatever materials I could find in my back yard. Can't wait to see the expert at work.

  • @andyandvirg well i never said i was an expert, although i was rather rude which now i apologise because i tend to do that from time to time (sorry) i was just pointing out your flaws so that you may better yourself. Like i said ill upload a video as soon as i can. Once again, sorry for being rude

  • @SuperBrokenfoot Apology accepted. Thanks for that.

  • @SuperBrokenfoot Okay chill the fuck out Tarzan. Nice video andy.

  • @dbowpku Tarzan being this Bear Grylls wanna be, SuperBrokenfoot.

  • @dbowpku Tarzan is African, im Native American..... two completely different sides of the earth

  • @SuperBrokenfoot - what a moronic and arrogant reply this is!! Good Job Andy..

  • @SuperBrokenfoot what a moronic and arrogant reply this is!! Good Job Andy..

  • sweet

  • How to you make the bow and drill. I understand it is wood but what kind of wood do you want to use?

  • Whoa!!!!!!!!! In two minutes
