I don't know why but I like RE4 pc more with the official patch than with high res and bloom mods. I think that old village with infected villagers shouldn't look so nice and peacefull :P It has to be ugly and gray showin you that this is not a good place...

I have a high end PC. but i get 20 fps with enb on and 30 without enb. I would LOVE to know how to turn of vertical sync!

Most people don't seem to get that all Capcom did was outsource this. The ridiculous startup sequence sports a giant Ubisoft logo proudly despite the subpar job done.

As for the patch, it was fan-freaking-tastic. I may just be looking for positives, but the sound also seems to have been improved.

It would be a nice touch if someone could record the real-time costume rendering from the GC or Wii and replace the prerendered ones. I wanna see Mafia Leon fight Krauser!

It's a shame that Ubisoft (they released the game - not Capcom) invested so little money to convert a popular, countless awards winning and bestselling game from the console to pc.

right, that is the main difference, pc version never would reach nintendo's version couse the framerate its limited to 30, while in GC and wii its 60, dynamic lighting is absent in pc too so go and add any patch you want but you will never reach the GC and wii graphics, PC its a PS2 bad port.

As far as I know, you'll need the patched euro or American version of RE4 for ENB to work at it's best due to these versions having the 1.1 patch which was the basis for the engine lighting fixes.

Biohazard 4 on PC doesn not ship with these correct lighting fixes, and so ENB would not make much of a difference, however, the movie patch should work.

I have a question does this patch only work on the American Version or does it work on all version the one I have is called Biohazard 4. Does this only work on the DVD version that you purchase because I have the one that was ripped off the DVD. Not to mention all the Movie cutscence in my version are all the same. I don't know if there is a way to fix that. I saw the movie patch you put, but I want to make sure that it will work before proceeding to download

The big problem of Re4 PC also with mods and patches is that this version hasn't dynamic shadows that make the game very very good on Gamecube.

Not at all, my system is considered mid range and I get 50-60 fps with ENBMod.

Maybe you've got some of the totally unnecessary options on, such as ssao which cripples the framerate and makes the game look worse. In the version I have, you can toggle it off with F10.

You actually CAN'T get more than 30 FPS no matter what you do. The engine is locked at 30 FPS. Even if you see 1000 FPS, you still get 30.

I don't really care dude. I just saw your video (Which is great BTW) and viewed the comments. I just wanted you to understand that you CAN'T no matter what to get more than 30 FPS in that game. I can run it with all of those mods as well, and get 30 FPS.

resident evil 4 on the pc looks ace, u can run tit in whatever resoluton u want, u might need to manually set it in the config file in the instaled folder but once u install the patches it loks amazing..

For the Xbox 360 controler does this package automatically respond to the controler when plugged in? sorry for ure time but I would need to know some info to make sure.

Yes, the ENB Mod is a collection of files added to the main game directory and location of the game's shortcut that improve the lighting in the game, but you do need the game first.

The x-box button pack simply replaces the default button graphics with x-box button graphics, which then tie in to your controller with no mapping needed.

Don't worry about asking stuff, that's what I'm here for :)

AFAIK, I have the basic patch, it does have some advanced features, like Depth Of Field and SSAO, but I turn these off as like you say, they are buggy features which have problems, but with the basic features on, ENB looks stunning.
