  • lol, i ripped this vhs. :D I'm glad my rip is still online :)

  • This band is the musical equivalent of sex

  • 5:19 Greg Norton!!!!

  • Terms of psychic warfare is one of my all time favourite songs.

  • Grant Hart singt bei BOOKS ABOUT UFOS alles in Grund und Boden....was für eine geniale Stimme

  • Die genialste Band aller Zeiten.....Mould und Hart waren die Größten.......

  • This band changed me forever when I was thirteen and heard them for the first time in 1983. The crap I'd been hearing on the radio just didn't cut it anymore - and it still doesn't. I still think they're one of the all time greats. Powerline rocks. Please, everyone, post everything you can find of this band.

  • Terms is such a great song. I recall that Books About UFOs surprised me when New Day Rising came out since I didn't expect them to do a really good pop song.

  • "terms" is my favorite husker du song! thanks!

  • Anybody know what band Grant Hart took on the road in the early 90's ? It was a side project for him but I think they recorded as well as toured .

  • Nova Mob.

  • Books About UFO's starts at around 4:15 :)

  • this is one of the best bands of all-time......and to anyone who isnt that familiar with the band, repeated listens are necessary to grasp the true greatness of the melodies and rhythms of the songs....there may be equals to Bob Mould on guitar, but none better

  • They were the first to do this "kind" of music. I can't explain what exactly. But they're extremely important to me.

  • I think Hart is one of the best rock drummers ever

  • No joke, watching him play and sing Terms of Psychic Warfare at the same time is amazing.

  • he gave me a t-shirt at Newport TJ's coz i was doing anti-nazi work. he seemed like a nice guy.

didn't really have a clue who he was at the time. yeah ok he was in husker do and all but so what. my mate almost fainted when i told him about this recently.

  • sorry meant to type "books about UFOs"

  • "terms" and "songs about UFOs" are IMO Grant's best

  • such a great band, too bad their manager killed himself and then they broke up

  • Excellent, excellent stuff....

  • REUNITE!!!!!!!

  • It will never happen. We'll see a Smiths reunion first. Mould and Hart are at least able to be on stage together now (they played Never Talking To You Again together at the Karl Mueller benefit), but a tour? New recordings? No way, they'd kill each other. I mean, they really HATE each other. Hart took a swipe at Bob in an interview as recently as a year ago.

  • BURY THE HATCHET.

    stranger things have happened.

at the very least take care of the legacy of the band and reissue their back-catalogue.

maybe they do hate each other but even so, if they had to jam again with greg they'd still have it. im certain of this. and if their troubles came from substance abuse, well they've both been clean since the late eighties. IMO the acrimony is overblown. they were good friends once and should be again for the sake of their truly remarkable band.

  • we have to get greg ginn to reissue the albums, which prlly wont happen since he's lost his mind.

  • "Terms of psychic warfare" is the best song!!!! A W E S O M E

  • books about ufos has got to be one of the cheeriest songs of all time.

  • i wonder if grant is strung out in this vid?

  • he's playing pretty well, so i dunno.

  • You can so tell they hate each other...

  • What are you talking about? They even said they were good friends in this period... It only got bad near the end, in 1987.

  • now days the hate each other which is unfortunate cuz i'd love to see a husker du show

  • husker du is sooo awesome live..

  • u can get it on vhs on ebay for a small amount of money. i did. good sound, its called "live at camden place" if i dont remember wrong.

  • Two of my five favorite Grant songs in the same clip. Nice!

  • Awesome

  • Love seeing this. As a long time drummer I know how it can happen that it's just not a good point for your guitarist to tune, just a shame it happened before such a melodic song as powerline!

  • I loved their final albums but look at the Joan Rivers Show appearance. It can't touch this.

  • goooooods

  • Shockingly great, hasn't aged a minute in 20 years!!

  • yeah definitely. Husker Du is so genuine and true to themselves as a band that they sound just as fresh nowadays. especially nowadays.

  • not any today´s band can beat this trio

  • If you have any more of this show please please please upload it.

  • Yesss
