the reason why this game is taking so long to make is becouse its near impossable for one the disks can not take the graphics of the cars and track pluss the amount of races they might be working on a disk that can take the power of gt5.

Does anyone else feel that Gran Turismo seems to have a much more gray kinda tone in the colours, and forza 3 is much more in-your-face kinda vibrant which almost makes the colours look a little less realistic?

The problem with GT5 is that it's all too serious, If you compare this to the customisation videos and stunt video of Forza 3 and you can see that GT is more of a serious racers, whereas Forza manages to do this and add a bit of fun too. I think that Gran Turismo sounds tempting, and the graphics are pretty damn good too, but then again Forza's graphics aren't too much worse and the customisation of vehicles (body kits, paint jobs, engine upgrades, ect) puts Forza just a bit ahead. Great sims =]

Me too, but also for the fun part I think hes wrong. Because the fun part of GT are the driving lessons, especially the coffeebreaks:). However, the fun of GT is that you drive a car and overtake other cars without bumping into them, to do that you got to be as concetrated as in a shooter like MOHAA. But thats just my opinion as a GT and PS fanboy.

8gb vs 50gb. speaks for itself, forza is a good game, no doubt. Regardless - ps3 is way ahead of the 360.. look at the hardware and try to prove me wrong.

This game isnt even out yet, and you're already comparing this to forza 3, thats nothing but stupid.

what's going on with the nascar in this video. is it included in GT 5 or a completely separate game that sony is making and its going to be exclusive to the ps3 cuz i would like a good nascar game for my ps3. the Ea sports ones suck.

It's supposed to be in GT5, but things may change. I did notice that at 1:22 there are two Amp cars, so, it may be in the game, but there won't be much of a choice on who you want to drive/ track.

wonder how many dvds it would take for the install lol. but yeah, it would look better, but only if you had a $1000+ computer... and not many people do, so thats why it's better to make games like this one on a console. And on top of that it's a racing game, so a console with the controller is better.

nah you don't have to have 1000+ usd pc. 600-700usd tower can get the job done. i have ps3 and xbox 360 controller for pc and they all work for every game i have. ;) the only reason it stays on ps3 exclusively is because it's always been.

You get what you pay for. Remember games can be optimized for a specific console really well, unlike PC, so to play with no hiccups on PC you have to put down big bucks to cover all your bases. and yeah you're right about the last part, but it is still true that games like Crysis take big $ to develop and yet don't bring in the same profit that a lot of console exclusives can bring in, and to do a quality PC port it takes a lot of effort. Just look at all the badly optimized PC games :(

Nah Forza3 isnt even close to GT5. Forza3 has only 8 cars on screen, fictional tracks, no rally or Nascar mode, no 3d crowds etc. Trust me nohing will ever beat a GT game, unless MS buys of Polyphonic :)

By judging between this trailer and the FM3 trailer, FM3 has no chance on earth to beat GT5.

The graphics are way better in GT5, and having licenses for both WRC and NASCAR is too much for FM3 to compete with.
