Overall I think the scenario is actually plausible in the right circumstances , Kong has longer reach due to his arms , and a lot more mobility, agility and speed. He is also likely far more intelligent then the V rex's.The V rex's only real advantage are numbers.

@Calick The V-rex (Vastatosaurus Rex) is a fake Dinosaur created by Peter Jackson the guy who made this movie he is supposed to be an evolved T-rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex) if the T-rex survived for another few million years it has 3 fingers on each hand while T-rex only has 2 fingers on each hand and it is bigger,stronger and tougher than T-rex its even bigger than predators bigger than T-rex like Carcharodontosaurus,Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus.

You do now gorilla's are one of the most powerfull beings on the earth. tbh a tyrannosaurus wouldnt make a chance. gorilla's are one bulk of muscle + they are fast and agil. while a tyranna is big and slow and when it falls on the ground its pretty over. tyrannosaurus getting up 30 times like these... doesn't happen if it was real.
