This isn't a Chrysler! It's an Imperial....do you say...Ford Lincoln Continental or do you simply say Lincoln Continental. Imperials are a separate make.
@TheEldweebo You obviously did not watch the video to the end. And as for being underpowered, yes they certainly were. Quality at the big three fell out the window years ago, especially at GM. These Imperials were no exception. Nextime you comment, know what you are talking about first sir.
I owned an '81 for many years, as my daily driver. I still have my '82 Frank Sinatra Edition, and it is running better than ever on the original EFI system! Someday, I won't be able to find parts for the EFI and wil have to convert it, but for now, I'm just enjoying the ride! These are perhaps the most beautiful cars ever designed, IMHHO. The lines are incredibly sharp and clean.
@TonyMaximMuscles Great Tony! And the Frank Sinatra Edition to boot, thats a keeper. It's always a pleasure to hear from someone who appreciates the classics of the road, and saves in little of our history. I see that your keeping your body in amazing shape bro, great work!
they got one by my house in gr michigan 2900 under 100000 miles i want it i need to get a job...fs version i want it pray for me...what about rear wheel drive in winter or just get some back snow tires
@Gapandgold 1st of all, the world did not stop in the winter before front wheel drive, you will find rear wheel drive IS far superior in the snow over ill handleing FWD. Snow tire would help in GRR, but, why would you take a classic out in the snow? Buy a cheap GM throw a way FWD for that and park the Imperial.
I sold these in 1981 - 1982 at Blue Grass Chrysler Plymouth in Lexington, Kentucky.
Absolute CLASSIC styling, every amenity, and the all new digital instrumentation was a hit. However, the throttle body 318 was a real pooch; wouldn't spin the tires if it was on blocks. It really didn't matter, though, with this car. It just screamed SEX !!
@Thunderchicken1997 LOL! Too funny, yeah, the 318 was a real pooch, and you are right about the styling, ol' blue eyes was proud to roll in Las Vegas with this one. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Would love have one, but that EFI and 318 would make me have to say no. Would love to have my old 1978 Buick Park Ave back instead
