I used to own this game on ps2, then it got stole and never bothered to buy it again. I dont really care for it.

The music is anoying, the fighting system is way unbalanced, the stages are few and bland. and the most ridiculous thing of all is that i've seen this game for $80 used. Give me a fucking break. They should make a Capcom vs SNK 3. the "vs SNK" series is way better.

I personally think Spider-man and Jin in Marvel vs. Capcom (1) were both a lil overpowered, i mean well i guess it's me. This game looks like the same as the first except with way more characters and now you can cycle through 2 other characters instead of just 1 other. Overall, it looks pretty nice for a MVC game.

this is not marvel vs capcom 2 on ps3. This is marvel vs capcom 2 on ps2. The demo is out for marvel vs capcom 2 for ps3. There are only six playable characters and yes you can play on versus mode but thats about it.

backwards compatibility is on some versions of ps3, they took it off some of the higher GB versions..but anyway, that function allows you to play ps2 and ps1 games..it's not really that complicated..but if you plan on buying mvc2 for ps2 you're outta luck unless you got over $100 to pay for it since it's quite rare..BUT! there are rumors that it'll be downloadable from the ps3 store..
