Great to see Gromin on Youtube. I took lessons from him 25 yrs ago not so long after he had arrived in Denmark. Tough teacher, great player. Apparently, he hasn't been very actively during the last decade or so.

Interesting... I didn't know that he practiced teaching! It's hard to be a teacher for a self-taught musician like Nikolai.
But he really is great player! Actually a unique one among soviet jazz-musicians of his generation since he played on the level of the best american jazz guitar players.
Though he is not as active and techncally fluent as earlier his playing is still emotionally rich and positive!
