hei hei, ompa hauska tavata toinen suomalainen täällä! siitä lähtien kun mä oon ollu täällä amarikassa...... *slap* Men like you are the reason I left Finland
The book and the movie are so different you don't even need to read the book before you watch the movie, but both are incredibly awesome and worth watching or reading.
The best part about this movie was during the auction scene when the receptionist gay guy offered 70 dollars for her scarf and then made the funniest epic look-away ever, as if he bid 3000 dollars lol, i wish someone would put that on youtube haha.
you should read the book first though before watching it. it's like your in on a inside joke because you've read it and others haven't . so you already know whats going on and your already laughin...if that makes sense :P
anyways WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the book!
Omgg I looooove Rebecca Bloomwood. The books are so good, my favourite series by so far. I like acctually don't go a page without ending up in laughter. Isla Fisher makes such a good Becky. The books are so much better though ;D
I love Sophie Kinsella and her books, but I didn't think this film did her any justice with her amazing writing. The woman that play'd Becky just wasn't any good in my opinion.
This dayss will be great !!! ^^ ...I love love this movie btw ^^ haha and Rebecca she is so sweet... I mean what is wrong with loving shopping :) , I love love her and this story and movie ^^ Fav fav fav :D
really love this movie,,but i dont like what she do to the debt collector,,he`s just doing his job..she ignore him everytime,i think its better if in the movie she pays him and says sorry than to pays him a lot of coins>>>thats really make me sad..
I would have liked this movie even if it didn't have the title "Confessions of a Shopaholic" but I wish they stuck to the book. It would have been an amazing movie. The only things that stayed the same were the names of the characters, I mean, Suze and Tarquin are practically non-existent and she doesn't even live in the UK, there's no Morning Coffee...etc. It just makes me sad because this is one of my favorite books and I was so looking foward to seeing it on the big screen.
I ACTUALLY LOVED THIS MOVIE! i just finished reading all the books, they were pretty different, and of course better, but i love the movie still. (i think if i would have read the books before hand tho i would have hated the film, but i'm glad i did it backwards, cuz now i love both, isla plays the essence of rebecca, and hugh the essence of luke (im glad they still kept at least one character british. :) )
what the name of the song when the Louboutins appear... at 1:06
i loved this movie. bought the dvd, and the entire shopaholic series. sophie kinsella is an expert to make her audience laugh...i think these books are better than twilight, theyre funny, romantic!
i dont like how the movie is a mix of the first two books i think its two different from the books they should start from when shes in london not new york and shes already working for a finance magazine before she has loads of debt and her dream job isnt for a fashion magazine its to be a personal shopper
I liked the movie...but you are right...so than what happens with the two last books, when she gets married and has a baby...I don't think they are gonna make a sequel...
Sigh ... Finns don't say "Hej hej" when they're saying "Hello", they say "Hyvaa Paivaa". "Hej hej" is Swedish. This is almost as bad as the moment in Die Hard when the character refers to Stockholm Syndrome as Helsinki Syndrome. American movies are so dismissively careless when it comes to foreign cultures.
