At the Kills show in Montreal, they played first and I was like "Wow! Those kids are really nailing it! What *IS* the name of those dynamic young guns?!?!" Then I learned the band's name. Then I found out about Paz being in the band. Then I found out about Thurston. :(

Luckily I did pay attention, from the first song to the last, and enjoyed every minute.

The second band was painfully phony, The Kills were alright, but all in all, it was the Entrance Band that made my evening memorable.

oh and Entrance Band is friggin amazing. I first saw them at Little radio warehouse in La a few years ago and it was the best show i have been to date. It was them and Dead Meadow. Fuck it was great

saw them open for cat power feb 2009. didnt know them at the time, but really liked them. nice to see an interview

Saw Entrance open for Sonic Youth. Killer bill but saw it at electric factory in philly which is tres shitty. Horrible sound and what's ironic is that there are so many new places popping up just like the electric factory and they too suck (ex; The Norva in Norfolk). Then I saw Entrance as the headliner at a smaller place in Brooklyn. Now that was what I wanted the first time. Killer band. A must see.
