I'd always dreamed of visiting Brussels. The only thing that disappoints me is the population. For that reason, I don't think I would ever visit. But I would love to visit other parts of Belgium, maybe smaller cities or towns.

I've nothing against the people. I just want to experience the culture of the country. (I went to London a few years back and didn't feel like I was in London at all; I thought we'd taken a wrong turn somewhere.)

Rue Neuve is THE place to go for music shopping!!!!!! My Father lived in Brussels for 10 years. He loved it! I lost him January of this year to Cancer. He had a lovely and memorable 10 years there. I still go back there. I am so thankful that he introduced me to the wonders of Belgium. Lovely country, culture. I'm worried about its future though. The conflict between Wallonia and Flanders is becoming very heated - almost childish. They need to build bridges. It will hurt Belgium economically.

It's a billingual city with nice parts to live in. French would be enough if you really don't like learning Dutch but don't forget that the majority of Belgium speaks Dutch.

wrong! i believe bradford in the uk takes that title! it will be britains first muslim city. you'll find most cities in europe are going the same way (DOWN THE TOILET} and as for this "quality of life survey rubbish" dont believe it, they only count the people with money.

haha i live there man! its infested by foreigners who spoil all the beatifull parks etc, you can't walk in the streets especialy not with a girl after six o clock, etc etc, the nightlife is noting like in other cities,people are rude, i could go on for hours...
