thats not the same genre... monsorrow = pagan metal... finntroll= humpa metal... bands like finntroll do not deserve the branding "pagan metal" because their music is too happy and don't got the atmosphere of bands like Primordial, moonsorrow, drudkh and so on. @oldsalty7 we in the US northeast are crazy about the folk/viking/heathen/pagan metal bands. though most may not be as exposed since so many bands don't make it over or have a more limited reach due to language.  i was lucky enough to get to two Ragnaroek Festivals in Bayern.. so many great bands that we in the US won't ever see. you have a point, and i think the lack of these tours, especially the latest Paganfest, is a result of much of the US not being into this type of metal.

I was hanging out with Moonsorrow, swallow the sun, and Finntroll when They came to Houston, and a gang shooting happened right in front of us. A 12 year old boy died that night. I still don't know why they guys from Finnland didn't slay the gang members with their battle axes. :(
