  • Fuck me, the last time i heard this i had hair back combed to the sky, how times change :(... Great tune :). When did i stop listenin to it. Bring back Raw Power!

  • This is how Motley Crue could have sounded if they were't SHIT!!!!!

  • skolddd!!!! i love you

  • F**k YEAH!!...the good ole days!!

  • Great song; looked like these guys caught the last wave in from the 80s heavy metal music.

  • this song will ALWAYS ROCK, no matter how old it is.

    a salute to " shotgun messiah ".

  • Good sleazy heavy rock from the early 90's. A time where some of us tried to look better than our Girlfriends lol

  • Comment removed

  • Nostalgia... We meet again....

  • You guys remember Z-Rock?

  • @Memnoch67 Fkng Yea... !!! That was Joe Anthony's other station? The best D Js..... James Anthony, and Louis J Roney....And when kiss/kmac was the real deal!!

  • his image changed alot after marilyn manson lol

  • By bon jovi wanna be's, you would mean 90's goo goo dolls. They had the puke ballads (and Johnny had the hair and overblown ego) to back that up. This song is either referring to the lead singer's drug of choice or girl of choice, or both ;) This is just a continuation of 80's glam/pop metal so don't jump aboard now. Either you like it all form the 80's, even some of the cringeworthy cheesy stuff, or you don't. I love it all, metal metal metal. And hair/glam metal 80's-90's fucking rocks.

  • @Sean021122 well said rock on

  • one of the best solos i ever heard...

  • Skold is ok, Harry Cody made this band. Second Coming was a guitar masterpiece. "The Explorer" from their first album is insane as well!

  • Woah tim skolds hair metal days :P

  • A young and awesome Tim Skold from Marilyn Manson!!!

  • UN FAN DESDE EL PRIMER MOMENTO QUE LOS ESCUCHE...

  • MAS BRAVOS , MAS DUROS... Q CUALQUIER OTRA BANDA AH

  • And of course a SHOTGUN MESSIAH FAN!!!!!

  • i can't believe that's tim skold

  • one of the best songs ever!

  • Too bad Shotgun Messiah arent around anymore.... They were a fuckin killer band just trying to be rock stars, Too bad record labels pushed them out for grungy pieces of shit like Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam. All of SM's album were good, Yes Violent New Breed was different but it sounded so fuckin cool in its time!

  • badass mofos!

  • CAN SOMEBODY POST THIS SONG TO 4SAHRED.COM. I RELLY LOVE THIS SONG, MAN.

  • Even though this song sucks, it's amazing to see how far Skold grew since this time. Aside from Manson.

  • most underrated band these guys had such a attitude they would of had guns n roses taken a run for there money if they started out earlier plus the band was incredibly unique

  • @motleycrue24 They came out in 1985 with Bob city They where around just as long as Guns

  • @Acekicken no "Welcome To Bop City" wasn't released till 1988 get your facts straight bro

  • @motleycrue24 The single was out in 1985 the band's name was Kingpin I know my facts

  • @motleycrue24 Both Bands got there start in 1985 is this fact in dispute?

  • @Acekicken guns n roses had there first hit in 87' messiah had a nibble in 89'...when shotgun started it was "kingpin" known with a different line up where are you getting your info anyways?

  • @motleycrue24 Dude Guns Hit came in 88 the Song Welcome to the Jungle was push several times before it it charted & Sweetchild hit in Aug. of 1988 Kingpin was fronted by Zinny Zan formely of Easy Action wich is the connection to the band Europe if you want to play Rock Trivia game on.... Tim Tim was on Bass & Vocals to the song Shout it out was & is AWESOME to this day...

  • Still both bands where put together in 85 even Guns had a differnt line up in that time

Traci Guns,Rob Garner,Ole Biech blah blah blah

  • @Acekicken ya im aware so where did you get your info about when they started?

  • @motleycrue24 IM a Zan Clan fan,EasyAction Fan,King Pin Fan I would say the 1st time I read about them was in Circus or Metal Edge mag long long time agao

  • @Acekicken Also a fan of Skold....

  • @Acekicken right on..shotgun wasn't given a fare chance id say guns where managed n advertised alot more than shotgun ever was

  • CHECK OUT TIM SKOLD ~!!!

  • Splendid hair!

  • Amazes me no one remembers him from Marilynn Manson, check it out. He shaved his head and went for the money, now he writes jingles.. what a wasted talent, loved this band from day one.

  • @SunDevilDuckFan

Because Manson sucks. Remember him from Manson? How young and retarded are you? KMFDM was where he was great. Not even counting his badass solo album. Read your history kid.

  • classic rock kick's...

  • Tim Skold > Zinny Zan

  • I just wished I could download it! & the HD ver. got removed, shit!!

  • @1bitten2xshy they got 1 on yahoo videos but not full screen

  • @takemypot THANKS!!

  • THE most under-rated metal band of all time. There was real talent and ability there- it's too bad not enough people ever heard them.

  • gay metal

  • @kickalion well your 21 so what the fuck do you know dick nose

  • @kickalion it's funny you say that. because bands like this got all the pussy. and their fans got pussy since chicks would go to the shows too. as opposed to dungeons and dragons metal where there are no chicks at the shows and all the fans are dorks who don't get laid and all they sing about are wizards and time travel and bullshit.

  • @rodge2001 I got hot pussies every weekend and I don't play shit 'music' crap

  • SHIT YEAH !!. from beginning to end. this song is a THUNDEROUS MUTHA. pounding basslines, thundering drums, and a buzz saw of a guitar. the vocals are like no other. i love the sewer scene. it reminds of PROG.

  • This song kicks ASS. Seriously. Perfect timing for them..sort of. Maybe it wasn't the biggest hit ever, but at least it came out before the Grunge Scene took over. The upside is that the singer was the original bassist who TOOK OVER for the original singer when they all got sick of his BS! Nice.

  • </3

  • KILLER LIX!!!!

  • When I first visited Los Angeles, this song was played all the time on all the radios you tuned in... we drove up and down the streets, roof down, girls in the back, waitin' for the Rainbow to open doors... fuck we ruled the streets! Tumbs up if you where there too!

  • Its easy to classify the different singing styles of early 90s. You had the bon jovi wannabes, you had this wierd gravelly voice like the one Megadeth uses, you have your ACDC wannabes as well. Am I missing anything? I've heard quite a few Axl Rose impersonators too I think.

  • really zinny was way better singer

  • 92 gowanda rocks

  • horribly underrated band. the guitarist here was awesome. had great chops. i think their problem is that they came out a few years late. but they definitely had talent. the solo is so friggin' sexy.

  • 14 people need a life... this song is the shit

  • Harry Cody good guitar player good vocals from Skold nasty attitude it's all you need

  • Comment removed

  • i love the attack of the solo

  • i love the attack of the solo

  • mmm.. I used cruise that Blvd when I was a young man.

  • song is awesome

  • Anyone interested in starting a band like this in the Washington state area hit me up! I'm a guitar player and I'm looking to start a band

  • Awesome song, but the video is, eh...... not so great.

  • I love Tim's voice, I first heard it when I was listening to Anarchy by KMFDM when I first started liking them, and it was so beautiful.

  • OK, lets be real. Shotgun messiah is nothin without Zinny Zan!

  • @pjs100 nothing against zin but second coming was a way more solid album.

  • @texterr I prefer the Zan Clan album to Second Coming. Zinny stayed true to his roots!

  • @pjs100 Man, you have to be crazy or something. Zan Clan is great and Zinny Zan is the man, he is really cool cause Ive seen him a few times walking around i stockholm.

But Shotgun Messiah was just PURE CLASS. Nothing, compares to the geniuses that are Tm Skold and Harry Cody.

  • Love Tim :)

  • I love being into bands all my buddies hated. truly i was the only one who knew music. not afraid of the mainstream.

  • ruff vocals, heavy drums, incredible guitar player= underrated band; this was a well recorded album,...must have been the vocals...

  • It will never been...sorry. Tim told me for a long long time "If I am a star, take me down to earth"..Tim is a star today(Marilyn), I havent seen him in 20 years, I wrote and I phoned him....but....he didnt try to take any connection at all. I like him anyway...that bastard...:D

  • Interesting band, a mix of glam, grunge, and Alice Cooper.

  • It has the word 'shotgun' in it..therefore it is epic!

  • These guys were bad Fuckin Ass Live. Killer Tune. Killer Band.

  • damn!!brings me back to the good old days !!

  • @jocatt89 These guys were bad ass live.

  • Very Bitch'in!

  • Killer song- Thank God for Sirius Satellite Radio- "Hair Nation" never would of never heard if it was not for them

  • This song has a killer hook. Gets stuck in your head

  • why doesn't itunes put this on!!!!!!!

  • This is my fiance's cousin's band! <3

  • why has the song "can't fool me" never been posted on here?

  • soooo fucking cool!!!!!

  • These guys would have gone further when they got signed if they could have kept the name "Kingpin" way better than shotgun messiah, but there was already a kingpin in the U.S. never heard of them though.

  • =D hey

  • I think the singer is in Marilyn Manson's band ?!?!

  • @Ginagiovani not sure if he still is

  • @Ginagiovani He was in the Marilyn Manson's band from 2002 to 2008

  • @Ginagiovani The singer in marilyn mansons band is marilyn manson.................

  • tim skold changed alot.

  • HOLY HAIR.

  • This song is hard rock bad ass at its best

  • @steve3562 this song kicks serious butt.. ther'e no other like it.

  • @rocker674gm

Hey, I hear he writes music for commercials and movies in Los Angeles now

  • @iEatBabies0666 thats awesome,glad he's still around doin some music stuff. \\m//

  • @rocker674gm harry cody does music for the ads , i dont know how to say it wright , jingles or something like that

  • @rocker674gm Creative but more important has an amazing string feel control he has soul and swiss precision

  • @rocker674gm anybody know something about him?? he and the guitarplayer of spread eagle were amazing...

  • @rocker674gm dude me and my guitar teacher think the same thing, he deff doesnt get enuff credit for how nasty he shreds and he does shit on there that sounds like hes usin a wammy bar and he isnt! Lol but he should deff be up there with eddie van halen

  • @MrBarnett420 Not that i think Eddie is the best he just inovated alot of things lol hes already a dick for people praising him so much hes the only person that would take a hunk of shit guitar and try to sell it for 20,000 dollars lol

  • good song! last of the hair bands= good music!

  • I love Tim Skold's voice no matter what he does. Marylin Manson, KMFDM, Skold, and Shotgun Messiah.

  • i fucking love this band these guys where just as talented as ratt and motley crue...and carried there own unquie sound they should of been BIG

  • @motleycrue24 Motley is by far my favorite band of all times, but I have to say, Shotgun Messiah is ranked pretty close to them in my book.. VERY underrated

  • @rebelcountry33 i agree plus ratt

  • TIM SKOLD FROM MARILYN MANSON.........2 years ? after his move to L.A.

  • finally found a badass guitar player with the same name as me

  • FUCKIN GLAMMM!!!! KICK ASS YEARS!!! \nn/_ long live 80s!!!!

  • HAHA TIM SKOLD

  • @fukinblowme "Or so" Gimme a break..I'm old! LOL! Thanks for setting me straight dude!

  • @69HurstOlds Still pretty badass for hair metal :D. I still dig the drummer using a pipe for a cowbell.

  • Cody sure did manage to get a lot of tones, tricks out of his guitar with just his fingers as opposed to a whammy and a ton of effects. Good player!

  • Dig it! These guys rock!

  • this cd and there first are wicked not one tune is bad they were bad ass

  • Comment removed

  • @69HurstOlds Song came out in 91 dude.

  • @69HurstOlds Dude, you couldn't have heard this back in 85 since this was released in 90-91 :P. It is freakin' awesome, though, I agree.

  • van halen riff

  • Nice example of a "perfect" 80s Metal song. Totally rocks!!!

  • the late 80s and early 90s had some badass bands..this is like the transition between 80s glam metal and 90s heavy metal this stuff should have been big instead of that lame grung crap...they kinda remind me of alice in chains even though they were considered grunge they were really just metal like this

  • yes industrial kiddies, that's Tim Skold on vox

  • OMG, is Tim Skold?

  • harry cody demos on pirate bay right now...

  • last of the hair bands!!

  • This hear is my favorate band of ALL TIME!

  • tim Skold is not a good front man like zinni, zinni is the soul of the band

  • yeah goog stuff of rock n roll

  • tim skold needs to get his head out of that gothic shit n get back with cody n the boys n get back to this stuff

  • @motleycrue24 AMEN!! Couldn't agree with you more.

  • wen the first singer left the band the band go to the floor this band suck!!!

  • @fabroscot whatever dude zinny sounds like a lil annoying 12 year old girl skold actually sounds like he has a set of bawls

  • @motleycrue24 Man!! its glam!! all are like a girl!! vince neill! nikki six!!

    man!!! zinny is the best1

  • @fabroscot vince sounds nothin like zinny i cant stand his voice maybe i dont care bout nothin is alright..i just perfer skold this aint glam^ this is hard rock

  • this song is fuckin bass ass but the only one i liked from them back then

  • out of every underrated band shotgun messiah should of made it to the top

  • Fucking Awesome!

  • What's wrong with turning kids on to glam? Awesome music is what this fucking industry needs and some of this glam metal was played with lots of precision and skill...it was and still is some of the best music you can get your hands on compared to the crap that's been coming out the last 20 years.

  • i think steel panther is funny, but i fucking hate all the 13 year old kids that they turn on to Glam. Tim tim doesen't look anything like anyone from steel panther.

  • @V3xify so your mad cuz kids are being turned on to good music? better then 13 year olds pretending to be black

  • I would rather have them listen to rap, because they make our music look bad. Just like you are. Grow a brain.

  • your the one looking bad no need to be so confrontational. and how do i make music look bad?

  • So, let me get this straight. You'd rather have kids listen to shitty music being put out by a bunch of gang-banging thugs who've probably killed people, but don't want them listening to glam?? Get your head examined buddy!!!

  • Tim Tim is omg how I loved the 80s.

  • I'm really addicted to this song right now! I've been watching this video every day!

  • I was in Colorado in early 92 when I first heard these guy's,say the least I found a mall and bought the cd!! still have it 2..

  • Fuckin' awesome song

  • Fuck my eyes, this is one fuckin' rare vid )) Shotgun Messiah rocked, notice their really heavy and badass sound!

  • @sopostelnik HELL YEAH THEY ROCKED,Me and my Band Played this Song when we Played Live, and it Kicked so Much ASS!!!!!!! People Loved it after our sets they would be like Damn you guys just Played Heartbreak Blvd. I was like Hell yeah they Rock,We use to get alot of compliments on that Song!! S.M. Ruled!!!!!!!

  • @sopostelnik I know it's been a while since your post, but what you said is true! Messiah was Bad-Ass!.....with great sound!

  • great song!!

    =)

  • Skold looks like Lexxi Foxxx from Steel Panther!

  • @mediblue9 he kind of does

  • tim skold aint no poser like steel panther hes the real deal

  • I like this lineup better. Yeah, Zin had more punch to his vocals, but Second Coming had more of an edge to it that I found more appealing.

  • The original lineup is better. Tim is good but Zin has more punch in his vocals.

  • Where is Harry Cody? This guy is amazing.

  • Hail from Poland!! KICKING ASSES !!! Classical Quality!

  • @Crystof Hail from Poland?!!? I think you are confusing this band with Manowar j/k lol ;-) :-p

  • ok. just did one of my very common trawls through youtube and everyday im more convinced i was born in the wrong decade! an 18 year old in 2009 who loves 80s/early 90s metal (almost all of it, classic metal, glam, thrash, pretty much you-name-it) and im stuck listening to crap-rock like nu-metal on the "rock" channels or pop rubbish like miley wotsit and that on "music"TV (MTV). youtube is my saviour! lol hair metal rulez!

  • @gilgel55 I feel your pain, man, real rock needs to come back!

  • @garydupuis IT IS BACK AND HERE TO STAY

  • @gilgel55 I was just thinking the same, if only I was born when my parents where, lol. all of the concerts with so many great hair metal bands I could of rocked out to.

  • oh yeah babe! Tim Skold is fuck'n heartbreak! ;)

love him! is so Georgeus!! ♥ _♥ Shotgun Messiah RulZZZZZZZZ!!!! \m/ yeah! love it!

  • Is Tim still in Marilyn Manson's band?

  • No. He left as soon as Twiggy came back.

  • tim skold has changed so freakin much! a talented man he is indeed.
