Hello, In the first evp I hear, "hello", but it's quite faint. In the second, I hear it differently. I hear, "no, f__k it". I hear the name as " Effingham ". I live in a haunted location, and have been recording evps for over two years there.

Interesting... I heard the 'Hello' part, but the other sounds were only barely audible. I couldn't tell what they were saying, but I could definately hear something. Very cool! :) I'm still too much of a chicken to do anything like that or record stuff in my own house, LOL.

good evps, shame about the levels, i was gonna suggest audacity also. i use a much more powerful program to amplify, slow down etc all of mine but audacity does the job.....

I think these are exactly what paranormal researchers believe they are-voices of entities (ghosts, spirits) which we are fortunate enough to capture evidence of. I don't think that all EVPs are actual sentient spirits, some may be "place memories," or events which have left a psychic imprint on a particular spot, but when they respond to you directly that is definitely a spirit!

If you were recording at the time, how did you know to ask to ask " say it louder'? Did you hear the voice in real time? If the voice was only picked up on recording then you wouldn't have heard it until play back.

When I record, I keep in mind that I might be getting a response (although I unable to hear it) so I will sometimes ask the question again or ask if they could say it louder in hopes that I get verification by hearing it a second time and hopefully louder when playing back the audio. I had a cat named sharrie and we would feed her on top of our counters because we have two dogs that would love to eat her food ( if its on the floor) and so when she would jump off of the counter it would make a loud thump well a week after she died i was alone my dogs were gone to the next thing i knew i herd that same thump that i heard when my cat was finished eating and i swore i herd a small meow.why?

That's interesting, because when my dog died, i could hear her paws tapping on the floor, (you know when they walk on the floorboards or run and it makes a tip tap sound?) Perhaps animals stick around for a while too to let us know they still care.

In my old house i used to have to sleep with someone walking about in the attic when i went to check with a friend he took a picture when he saw something and a green blob turned up on it. Is this normal ghost activity. PS it was pitch black with only a phone to light the area and we were also in a compact space of the attic.

I am not 100% sure of this but I use a digital recorder that has a plug for only a mic and earphones (not for a usb). I had to get a special cord (unfortunately I forgot what it is called)that plugs into the part for the earphones and connects into the input on the pc. It's possible that you might be able to do the same if your recorder has the plug for earphones. The audio quality is still good.

Recording evps at your own home is not good... You get poor quality and creepy. Go to a graveyard and look for children died around 1900-1950, I found out they are the best. I suggest this for all you will be amazed.

Thanks for your EVP video! - I have been researching EVP for the last 6 years and have heard some EVP's where the entities seem to be using some type of apparatus - there is a loud clap, then counting and then the EVP message. I have been to a famous UFO site at Rendlesham and have some EVP from there that warns not to record there - I believe these may by ET's. "String Theory" would suggest that we live in a multi-dimensional universe where our dimensions inter-lock and communication possible.

No...you don't need "snow" or static white noise from a tv or a radio. Take your recorder and try it out everywhere where it is quiet. You might want to even try recording as you are having a conversation with a friend. You might find another unexpected voice in there. You might be suprised by the results.

Sometimes I record if I feel that I am being watched and sometimes I record for no reason at all. The majority of the time there are voices. In these recordings I haven't repeated anything. I did however add the recording twice with each evp in case it can't be heard the first time.

It is hard to hear when others think you are being dishonest. I recorded this in my bedroom in total silence. When I played the recording back...it took a while for me to calm down. I almost ran out of my house because of the fear. I was shocked to hear an answer!
