i come from a strong snowboarding background and just started surfing, and i ride regular in the snow (left foot forward). would it not be the same for me in surfing? my right foot is dominant so it goes to the tail of the board in snowbrd. i think it would be weird to switch my stance in a similar board sport.

well all i can say is that when i used to snowboard my stance was goofy, i skated back then too and my stance was regular, i never figured it out why was that but i just couldnt skate with the goofy stance... ive figured that my surfing stance would be goofy-stance too as it would feel more comfortable
