  • love them

  • I love pineaples "piñas" I am from Honduras and we grow them over there

  • That's the most dramatic Pineapple music I've ever heard.

  • some pineapples get processed, some get sold whole.

all I know is that one will make it to the bottom of the sea and become SpongeBob's house :D

  • Epic music in the video is epic.

  • Aaaaaah... I want some pineapple....

    *runs to store*

    *come back home*

  • talking about the first people to try new things... the bravest person in the world was the first man to eat an oyster...

  • @jelad100 And the kinkiest person in the world was the chap that started sucking on cows.

  • I'd love to see a pineapple fall out of a truck here. Only turnips and potatoes seem to fall out of trucks in Ireland :/

  • I remember going to Maui back when I was 10 and being amazed that pineapples were grown in the ground, not on trees like i had originally assumed.

  • Pineapple means king of fruits in hawaiian or some other language. I forget

  • I luv pinapple!! Mmm im hungry for one fresh pinapple now... Cept their not in season i think..

  • AT 3:18 they look like toilet rolls

  • any time i eat pineaple from the fruit i get a reaction in my throat canned is fine tho :L

  • i've always wondered about the first people to try new fruit were they like " okay lets crack this funny looking thing open to see if it tastes nice *crunch crunch* oh and to see if its poisons and we die"

i would not of liked to try new fruits when it was all unheard off

  • @iSimon2k8 i agree but you must admit, the bravest man in the world was the one who first ate an oyster... lol

  • @peeki

They are preserved in their own juice.

  • Monoculture is the worst kind of agriculture in the world.

  • Monoculture... the worst kind of agriculture in the world.

  • Monoculture... the worst kind of agriculture in the world.

  • I had one pineapple planted in a pot. It grew up beautifully, but somebody just stole it when I was away.I felt so bad.> I planted another 2 and I kept them in my backyard.

  • Pineapple is awesome, but on pizza it's just wrong.

  • @sheprime004 nah Hawaiian pizza (pineapple and ham) is excellent!

  • wow.. after watching this.. i am so hungry... hungry for pizza.. XD

  • They grrow on the ground!?

I thaught there was a tree or something...

    .....wierd fruit

  • honestly, capitalism so awesome, that's pure capitalism right there, bringing a fruit we on the continent have no earthly business being able to go and get anytime we want...we should have to pay 12 dollars for a taste of an exotic fruit, but we pay pennies--fuck socialism and socialists.

  • ah how cruel - pineapples feel pain during the whole process too, people are monsters. Eat meat instead - at least they are killed before being skinned.

    parody 101 ;)

  • Bah, just eat free range pineapples.. much more humane.

  • HA HA FREE RANGE PINEAPPLE how would that even work? that is too mind blowing

  • I have a few in the backyard now.

They help keep the bugs off my trich's and williamsii's.

  • they dont feel pain

  • I went to Maui once.

Fucking black plastic blowing all over the place!

  • hows the weed over there?

  • .....speechless......(cuz u be to high to talk)

  • i still prefer to buy whole pineapples and cut them into cubes and such. they don't have that aluminum taste in them that canned fruit does.

  • also, the enzymes are intact!

  • hehe this thing made me thirsty :P

  • just drinking a pineapple juice when I decided to see how they are grown and picked :)

  • I have a packet of dried pineapple. So yummy :p

  • not sure about that but pineapples do ripen after picked...

  • This video not detailed enough

  • I agree, so from what i gather.. the pineapples are basicly preserved somehow.. im not sure.. or is it because of thier acidity that they dont need to be preserved ?...

and also.. i should buy the pineapple rings rather then the peices ? because id be sweeter ?

and how about the Pineapple in Syrup Vs pineapple in juice etc ?..

  • my favorit fruit!

  • i hope those warehouses play good music for the hard workers

It looks fairly straight-forward to grow, have you tried it (for fun)?...

  • We use to have two and it gave Pineapple (as long as the vid says) but after ... i think about after 20 ears they were neglected and they dnt give pineapple anymore..lol.
