@Matchez112 Yea. 2.0: 115 HP 1.8T: 150/180HP Depending on the year. That wasn't the best take off in that video, trust me.

Usually it would hold on 18 psi. But as revs reached 5K it would drop fast!

The only lights that are on are the Check Engine Light, and if he did something to his car (modification wise) it may come on, and the other lights are for cruise control and traction control....

I own a '01 Jetta (Wolfsburg edition) with the 5 speed manual and the turbo. No chip in it, But I can totally relate to the check engine light. Once it's shut off by the dealer, it just comes on when I'm going home again.

its emissions related. i got the same exact car. i replaced the mass air sensor and the light went away.

yeah dude same thing with mine i tried to fix the check light like 3 times yet it keeps comin back, but just wonderin does the esp button have any effect on acceleration?

also how much faster would cold air intake and the "chip cost"??

If it's shut off, your wheels will spin, resulting in slower acceleration

@de1642 when the traction control light is on in the dash, that means your traction control is off. meaning you can do burnouts and stuff

@arroncoh1 actually no leaving it off is best. you just have to know how to launch it because the eps shuts off fuel wen u spin which u dont want.

@arroncoh1 I've had the check engine light repeatedly as well. P0172 system too rich bank 1 always returns, but it doesn't seem to be causing issues so I think I'll just ignore it for now. Got MAF, O2 sensors replaced, sensor areas cleaned... Always shows up again w/in a couple weeks.

You might want to learn how to lay off your clutch & what RPM to shift at.

you're right about the clutch, but redline is the end of the powerband in 1.8t so idk what ur talking about with the shifts. (torque band is from 1800RPM to 5900, horsepower is something like 3000-6500)
