In the movie, Arthur realizes that he belongs to the land that he has defended for so long. I believe that look was one of anger and hatred because of the love between Arthur and Lancelot. I think in this particular story, Lancelot believed that Guinevere had case a spell over him and Lancelot had trouble adjusting to it. Lancelot knew that if Arthur stayed it was a death sentence, but he had no way of knowing that it would be his death that we all mourned. Loved the movie!

Um, no offense, but it bothers me how everyone is so big on the whole Guinevere and Lancelot relationship. Hey, they didn't get together, and Guinevere and Arthur go better together. Anyway, Arthur is the true hero, not Lancelot. Lancelot said himself that he would have left Guinevere in the prison to die. Arthur saved her.

kytpuma, I knew someone would say that in response, but hey, Lancelot saved her at the end, not the beginning. He had to grow during the movie. He felt bad for the fact that he would have left Guinevere in the prison earlier in the movie. And of course, he saved her AFTER he had seen her, and decided he liked her. True heroes rescue people in need, no matter what they look like or how skilled they are at fighting. Arthur was a hero from the beginning.

lancelot is a knight in contract who goes into battles not on his free will but by his contract. arthur has ideals and beliefs that he lives by because of a childhood tragedy that forever changed him. lancelot, on the otherhand, just wants to do the jobs and be free. not until the end does he makes the decision to fight for something. he chooses to rescue guinevere on his own free will for the first time. love changed him and he sacrificed himself in the name of it...well my take on this film.

actually historical wise there was no such thing as a knight at the time, not until the Norman conquest anyway....and as far as the movie goes it adds drama to have a secondary relationship. it's true that you have two separate characters with different ideas going under a single contract. as for the lovely vid, it's one of my favorites. I like the song..isn't it Hoobastank on the CD"The Reason"? i love how you transitioned the movie clips...very well done..i wish i could do that..

@spaciousgalaxy first : guinevere in the really story was a princess so she cants stay in a prison . second how can you say : Guinevere and Arthur go better together ? if you watch the film you can see in the end the look of guinevere when lancelot dies...( sorry for the bad language but i'm not english ^ ^')
