I used Apple Motion 4, to achieve the snow falling effect and the "Skywriter" effect. The background I created in Photoshop Cs4 using a simple blue-to-black gradient and a feathered snow texture. I then exported it to Final Cut Pro to get the video inside the text, saved it with audio and rendered.
