I am already aware that some of the moves here are not "earthbending" or any sort of hung gar. -_- The jump kick was from a form in Tae Kwon Do (which I did for several years). Besides, if they were casting, they would probably look more towards acting ability and general overall appearance. Martial arts experience is a big plus, although you don't need to be all knowing in a particular nation's form.

Again, this isn't an audition for the live action movie (if it was, this would be an extremely good JOKE of an audition) so I'm not even trying to be in the film or anything like like that. As the description states, THIS IS ONLY FOR FUN.

Regarding the age, I think that has to be one of the LEAST of their worries. I mean take a look at Sokka's actor. He's almost a good decade older than the character he plays. Same goes for a lot of other instances in films.

Well, that certainly is true. One needs the ability to actually act the part and speak the lines necessary for a role with enough life and vivacity to provide the illusion of reality.  However, this girl has clearly demonstrated that she can physically act the part of Toph Bei Fong in both her movements, physical ability and even personality. I think this is a splendid audition and should be given some merit and consideration for the role of Toph in the upcoming movies.

Actually it's funny how the green contacts became blue in this picture(probably because the saturation is a bit low by the after effects) but in the animation Toph has blue/grayish eyes so this works well.

It's a pro to have a little bit of martial arts experience but the actual fighting style will be thought when your casted, so no real reason to start learning Southern Praying Mantis.

If you're interested in learning Hung Ga (洪家) yet there's no local Kung Fu school that teaches it, you could look up Kung Fu school's that teach southern Shaolin, because they're of the same family, so it'll still be very close. 洪家拳（こうかけん、洪拳とも。広東語ピン音）は、中国南部で発­達した中国武術の門派（流派）。いわゆる南派少林拳を代表する門­派の一つ。That's from Japanese Wiki.

Actually she uses both. As an earthbender she hung ga as the fundamental of her earth bending, like all earthbenders do. What seperates her from the crowd is that she also knows Southern praying mantis. She's unique that way.
