Yep. I started the book before refresh, and decided to leave the chapter in because I think it's good to know. My implementation does things a little differently. No XML to drive it. Character encodings, height, ascent, and glyph widths and heights are encoded within the image. Single file, no "image & layout" files.

You know refresh has fonts built in, right? Just making sure. The principals are still useful to know, I guess.
