Well... this game is too easy anyway... I played all sequels for all the characters but the game is pretty much a wash once you have 9999 gold ingots and 9999 gold coins, AND 10 full rigged ships all rigged with carronades and goddess figurehead. (You should know how to get that by now anyway...)

Too bad you don't have the CD quality opening. Then again, thats a drawback of DOSBox..

Ernst's Story is actually the easiest & fastest quest to finish, all you really need to do is complete the map of the entire world for Mercator & you're done! Ali's however is the damn slowest to finish.

PC version is the one I love, sir. That's the original :-) I am Korean and all Koreans loved this marvelous game. My favorite character was Pietro from Italy.

Yeah. It looks same except these are in English. Koei is the Japanese pc game company and their games were popular here in Korea too.. I never knew this game advanced to North America.. I wish I can get this game somewhere.

yeah.. by the general Garibaldi, right? although in this game, Pietro Conti is introduced as an Italian.. not Venetian, Roman, or Genoan etc.. :-)
