My opinion about Hanyuu is that of a characteristic of Final Fantasy 7. FF7 has many great mechanics, but if those weren't exactly as great, FF7 still would have been awesome JUST BECAUSE SEPHIROTH IS THAT AWESOME. In the case of Hanyuu, she serves as the walking irony of being a feared God and in reality would never want to sacrifice her people and is very apologetic, but JUST BECAUSE HANYUU IS THAT CUTE is probably the only reason actually needed to make boys and girls alike squee for her.

@bunnyfist It's called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Kai and Rei are the second and third seasons) But be warned, it's not a cute anime. It has a few cute parts, but a lot of it is blood and gore. It's got a really emotional (Well, for me) storyline and amazing characters, though. I would recomend it if you can stand blood and emotional moments. It's not really that happy. Well, except the ending. ;-;

It has lost some moe points. The original was orders of magnitude better. It no longer makes sense either since it is so scrambled. The original song has a story that it tells as well as being about hope and happiness for the future. This is an insult to Hanyuu-sama.
