I am a humble uneducated Japanese only lived in England for seven years so I am not qualified to comment here, but I would like to say a few things.

In developed countries, like Japan and the UK, people choose jobs no matter how under-qualified or overqualified they are. Some find what they want, some don't. If people are willing to work, no matter what job, unemployment rate falls.

It is not the fault of the government in Japan or in the UK that some people are too selective.

I left seven years ago, i now earn a good salary a month, i can afford to buy things, i don't get fucked anymore by the government when i was in the UK I was made redundant four times in two years in Cornwall, my parents moved house when I was sixteen and by the time I was 22 it was worth nearly ten times what they paid for it. Now some people would say 'oh that's good for you'! but i could hardly afford a bed sit ,like many others in the UK. I'm in Asia now, it's booming here! The UK is fucked.

I'm unemployed, The apprentiship scheme is a joke. I've applied for over 15 and been to around 10 interviews travelling to many on train for 2hrs to get nothing or a job offer where they only want to pay £90 a week.

£90 is a cheap way of getting people working for almost slave labour when it isnt even minimum wage. What is the incentive for young people to learn and work at the same time?

As for jobs, all I see if the government attempting to fix statistics with promises they cant keep.
