  • I cant believe there are Rwandans that oppose Kagame, he stopped the genocide...when the rest of the world was looking away... and rebuild the country....

i wish we had leaders like that in my country.....

  • pour quoi le president kagame parle en anglais?? aravugira nde ??

  • Interesting. The fourth of July is also the United States' Independence day. What a coincidence.

  • @Igikobo: How can you say Pre-1994 wasn't develped? Who built the same stadium all this is taking part? Habyarimana. Terrace farming was introduced in Rwanda back in 1982! Where was the so called Hero Kagame? While I hail him as having done some progress, I also have an problem with fanatics like you who look at the one side of the coin. You claim to know both Rwandas (pre and post) but if you really did, you wouldn't stick to thinking Kagame is a "miracle worker". He didn't do more than Habyara

  • @allclues Yes Kagame is miracle in what he delivered more than His predecessors. Both Habyarimana and Kagame have never done more than We The People. All we expect from our leaders is just a good governance, that’s it. Kagame believe in incorporating every body, I mean every body, and that’s the difference. Kagame has confidence in Himself and his People, to determine their fate and destiny, and compete in the world stage, Habyarimana did not. That’s difference and the results speak volume

  • 9000

  • Pussy-veni, Me -less zanawi talk about a convetion of Imperialist lackeys!!

  • even im in da US Army as infantryman i still love africa and take pride of my rwanda and rdc cultures. go africa

  • we love u so much kagame we're so proud of u,ureke abavuga bavuge, tuzagutora ijana kurindi ureke uriya mugore utazi aho igihugu cyigeze utunzwe na cpas yisaze mumutwe akeneye ko bamumenya ni amaraso yasize amennye ari kumwirukamo

  • Somalis should learn from this..

  • Peace based on armed forces with foreign hardwares financed by World Bank Group and IMF is merely debt to Rwanda's younger or unborn generation! The vested interest is -> DRC vast minerals. This is a glimpse of the best well armed African proxy warriors money can buy (Kagame, Meles of Ethiopia and Museveni of Uganda). They are getting fat by following orders to kill Africans in their terriories and beyond. The foreign suppliers of the weapons are giving orders behind the scenes!

  • AMEN!!! let this just be the begining.

  • Are you serious you think people were richer under Habyarimana. Let me tell you the genocide happened under Habyarimana and it even says in this video the country is growing economically. Habyarimana was a retard who deserved to die in that fucking airplane of his

  • I was in an airport in Kigali, Rwanda watching this on the 4th of July going to Kenya!!! It was the most amazing life changing trip of my life!

  • go rwanda

  • Why cant we Ugandans? yes we can... or yes we could !! let us learn then from our own students

  • RWANDA! An incredible african success story. A living illustration of the extraordinary resilience African poeples and nations are capable of. Longlive Rwanda, long live Africa!

  • Kagame is the best

  • word up NTV!! good job of informing about the region. we need more of these.

  • Thanks NTV. We need more regional News covered by our Kenyan media. Kenyans know very little that goes on in our neighbours and EAC partners.

  • colorful! Thanks NTV for the regional news. Keep it up! As for Rwanda, it looks like they learned from their pre-1994 political wrangling. Kenya? hmm!!! Ticking time bomb?

  • kagame has done a good job..the economy in rwanda is thriving

  • I hope Kibaki and Raila & all the kenyan MP's took time from politics and watched this

  • i like Kagame. he is true son of Africa who loves his country and Africa so much. just look at Rwandan economy today. i wish his excellency and Rwandan people good luck

  • I am sorry but you are wrong, Rwandan people are way poorer today than they were under Habyarimana. Kagame is just a dictator who knows how to fool the rest of the world like there is progress in Rwanda, next time you go to Rwanda, don't stop in Kigali, go deep in villages and see how people are suffering.

  • you are stupid

  • if that's what you got to say, just shut the hell up because you have nothing to say. Please try to prove me wrong the next time you post a message here.

  • I wrote my comment 5 times and each time I didn't get enough space to write. You know you should carefully look at the Rwandan economy before blaming Kagame while you should be praising him for the amazing work he is doing.Did you know that after the genocide, rwanda had to start from nothing..the bad people took all lots of money from NBR coz they spent theirs buying useless things like machetes? Also did u know that as a nation rwanda still has to pay for the pre-genocide gov debts?

  • With all those problems Kagame has managed to keep us the safest and cleanest country in Africa, to extremely lower the corruption rate, to provide the nation with a public health care a.k.a mutuel de sante and on top of that children are going to school for free!!U call him a dictator I call him a miracle worker!!Go in those villages and look at the wonders of terrace farming is doing with the help of a cow per household campaign! I would like to say more but time is money!Kagame is the best!!

  • Gosh nostalgia is really a terrible sickness. Rwandans are poorer than under Habyarimane,... Sure... Make sure you don't get injured when you fall back to reality. Rwanda will not find you in dreamworld. You are the one who needs to put a cross on Habyarimana's Hutu Power and join the ongoing progress. I know it's hard but you don't really have a choice. Do you?

  • dude, what are you talking about? what does Habyarimana Hutu power got to do with me? I never was a Habyarimana fan but when it came to the way Rwandan people in villages were living and under Kagame. People are way poorer now. For example, Kigali is growing so fast, that's good but what happens when you get out of Kigali? there is no where else that life seems to be getting better. Butare used to be a lively city but now it's dead town with barely anything moving.

  • Absolutely. That is exactly what is happening in the Rwanda of your dreams and wishes. As for the real Rwanda, people (Rwandans and non-Rwandans) travel every single day in and out of Butare, Gisenyi, Ruhengeri, Cyangugu, etc . What they see will continue to make them laugh at your words and others'. It will take time but you will end up accepting the reality. By the way it's all good news, for Hutu, Tutsi and Twa.

  • it seems you just know Rwanda after 1994. I f you knew it before 1994, you wouldn't be calling me a dreamer. Dude, understand I don't discuss this with you to put you down but I am trying to prove my point in a respectful way. if someone opposes Kagame, he gotta go to jail, come on now, where is the democracy?

  • Wrong sir. I happen to know both Rwandas, the one before genocide and the one after. The only Rwanda I don't know is the virtual one. The one that was imagined in some circles abroad and cherished in the nostalgics' minds.
