nope. It just does pre-made animations depending on where you swing the wii-mote. Sadly, everyone thought you could make your own moves...

yea my friend told me the games controlls are really bad .. but i seen how close he is to the sensor bar so that dosnt help .. his room is so small .. are the controls good aswell ..

The controls are tough to use if you have no space to play. You don't need much space though, small living room is perfect. 4 feet at least.

I still play even when forced to do so up close in my bedroom. Being close to the screen makes the motion super sensitive and too precise. To compensate you can tune down the Wiimote sensitivity.

The controls for Red Steel are the best yet for any 3rd person shooter I've played on the Wii.

This game is a Buy, rental period of time is not long enough to gain enough experience with the controls. Replay value is higher than you'd expect also.

The swordfighting never gets bloody or decapitating if that it what you mean. I wouldnt mind if it was a little more on the bloody side myself. Still fun ;)

i could never really break their swords, i found it kinda hard to do, nice vid, but some of those attacks he did were easy to block and you just owned in your own way.

He's not a bad player, he had those combos down pretty good. Most people just swing the wiimote like a windmill and hope it hits the bad guy, but this guy knows what he's doing.
