  • How old is this video? Other than that thanks for uploading them because every bit helps leading up to the time when I'm finally eligible.

    I'm starting to learn the skills like bed ironing and boot polishing NOW rather than in Depot.

  • thanks for sharing.

  • It looks as though it'd take me 6 months just to figure out how to organize my closet

  • Guess what happened to the dude that had 10 years experience in conflict resolution, black belts in martial arts and spoke several languages that attended cadet school ? He dropped out because he did not want to be part of a top down quasi military style organization based on violence as the only method of solving complex social problems...Graduation: congratulations, you now have the 'authority' to use whatever 'force' is necessary to 'arrest' ANY one for ANY reason...can you say 'oppression'?

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube yes it is unfortunate, but you seem to be focusing on the very little bad and don't appreciate the overwhelming good in policing

  • @walkertexasranger33 I have seen some police behave calm and reasonable. I expect "overwhelming good" to come from the PROPER training. Having cadet school based on quasi military style organization relying on violence as the only method of solving complex social problems is a crime: to perpetuate a 100 year old system of "crown" is ignorance. To "swear allegiance to the crown" rather than citizens is vile & disgusting. "without affection of or towards any person" = disregard for humanity.

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube can you source where it says "relying on violence as the only method of solving complex social problems". Because even if that is stated somewhere it isnt brought out in the training. The cadets under go over 100 scenarios at Depot just for that reason.

  • @walkertexasranger33 Hint: you miss payments on your home, you lost your job...eventually you will be told to vacate (even if you've paid 90% of the 'loan'). Police will be dispatched to make you leave...if you resist, you can be put in jail, and potentially be legally shot and killed. Hint: you are protesting and are arrested because your words are "threatening" to the police: you resist and are beaten. Hint: You are arrested and are peaceful and yet YOU ARE CUFFED !!! Cuffing = violence...

  • @walkertexasranger33 Complex social problems arise as a result of not sharing resources...most laws (and police) deal with stamping the cockroaches as they come from under the fridge: they fail to understand that the food has to be removed. Watch Zeitgeist movies to understand more.

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube ugh more zeitgeist... So you're issue is with the structuring of the police and the spenditure as opposed to the actual police.

  • @walkertexasranger33 Heres a question for you...what percentage of charges (and prisoners) are due to violent crimes (violent does not include property damage: violent = murder, rape, assault etc.) ? I would guess less than 10%. The other 90% are 'crimes against' the structure of society/police. In a FREE society a peace officer has NO RIGHT to physically infringe themselves on non-violent persons, not matter how "uncooperative" they are, doing so is a criminal act. Cuffing = violence...

  • @JonathanSeagullUtube but i do honestly agree with everything you're saying, including the swearing allegiance to a power of authority other than the public.

  • @walkertexasranger33 Yes, the sad part of it is that the majority of cops want to help people. The system is broken, I just hope that when revolt arrives, that the cops realize the perpetration of violence and oppression is the reason why there is revolt...and to not turn on the people, which is difficult when your paycheck is handed out by "the crown"...perhaps the Canadian dollar will be worthless, in that case, good luck "crown", you're goin down...

  • @chrisperdicaro

    *derision

  • BOO YA ! ! ! THAT LOOKS LIKE FUN ! ! !

  • I'm calling Quest now!

  • And to set the record straight, the Human RIghts Commission is not just for minorities, but ALL Canadians regardless of their status or position. If a member of the police force has legal proof that a judge violated his Charter rights arriving to a decision, that member can make an application to the Canadian Human Rights Commission. CHRC is for ALL Canadians and not just some. Research the actual truth and do not listen to conjectures or "handed down knowledge" about any legal entity.

  • The RCMP are going to have to raise wages substantially to inspire future and present members. Moreover, who wants to deal with domestic disputes of rural hillbillies and their delinquent kids who wear those script handwritten baseball caps, impaired drivers, fights at the local bar and endless paper trail writing one has to do over just a stupid noise complaint??? Not all RCMP are "bad". There are a few dimwitts out there, guaranteed. But on the majority, they are all good

  • What are you allowed/supposed to bring to Depot?

  • I've asked a few questions on this video before and i have another one and an important one.At depot is there any bullying? the tough guys making fun of people and pushing people around? I dont smoke cigarettes i have never smoked any weed or used any drugs,I dont drink alcohol (i have no problem with people who do drink its just my personal choice).I dont got out to bars or night clubs those are places i have no interest in.I get teased for this in everday life,at depot is there more respect

  • Do the RCMP get paid to train in the training academy?

  • Is this the only training academy for RCMP?

  • I'm looking forward to joining... can't wait to use the Tazer on helpless people and I hear I'll get to beat people up. The great thing is that no matter how often I do this.... I get paid and keep my job!!!

    As a regular tax paying 'Joe', this crowd of thugs make me want to vomit with their brutality.

  • i've read a lot of the comments made and some of them are very disturbing. i find that the people who hate the police, rcmp or city, is because they have broken the law. don't break the law and you'll have no reason to hate the person that shows up at your door to arrest you or serve you a ticket. it seems like everybody hates the police until they need them. they put their lives on the line everyday....do you?

  • This upsdelivery guy is most likely a very frustrated individual who has nothing but spite and hatred towards people who have succeeded in the competition of life. No worries, natural selection and social darwinism takes care of delinquents like him. Now lets sit back and listen to the numerous credentials he claims to have to substantiate his claims that have no grounds. I have seen guys like him so many times. They all have the same behaviour pattern.

  • @chrisperdicaro "This upsdelivery guy is most likely a very frustrated individual who has nothing but spite and hatred towards people who have succeeded in the competition of life." Thats weak. Seriously.. is that the best you have for me? You assume too much there Chris. What makes you believe I have not "succeeded in life"? Thats one thing I never do is assume shit. Diss me all you want, but making absurd assumptions only reveals your own stupidity.

  • @chrisperdicaro "No worries, natural selection and social darwinism takes care of delinquents like him." Just so you know its a proven fact that for the first time in history, natural selection and social darwinism are no longer in effect. Professionals and intellectuals are having fewer kids, while imbeciles and slobbering dolts are popping out babies at an alarming rate. So Chris, do you have anything thats actually factual or accurate to say? My guess is no.

  • @upsdelivery I would love to see what you would classify as a "professional". Read your history, please! And believe me, it is not the "first time in history" one group produces more than another who are not equipped with the equal amount of intelligence and aptitude. Eugenics has been a topic of conversation for decades now. Furthermore, a majority of one group outnumbering another means nothing when it comes to power of wealth and resources. Ever heard of South Africa???

  • @chrisperdicaro Chris... do you suffer from dyslexia? You wrote "natural selection and social darwinism takes care of delinquents like him". We are not on the topic of eugenics, power, resouces or wealth. Your comment applys that natural selection will oust delinquents. So tell me exactly how in this day and age, that natural selection will take care of "delinquents". Perhaps, before you make a stupid comment and an even more stupid reply, you should think about what you're saying.

  • @upsdelivery I take such great pride and solace knowing that your rants, racism and hatred towards authority and other groups resulted in you being recorded, traced, observed and filed (emails, cell and landline). This was something your brought on yourself--especially your anti-semetic conspiracy theories. How and why you blame innocent people for confining and restricting your "genius" in life is beyond me. Blame yourself and not others.

    Otherwise, have a happy day :)

  • @upsdelivery Please read the magazine Scientific American. I am not going to tell you the exact issue. You are going to have to work and research that by yourself. I am no longer responding to your rants and conjectures.

    Other people on here have mentioned how you have harassed them with your threatening emails as well. You are pathetic. Goodbye.

  • @chrisperdicaro You are truely fucked. You will no longer be responding??? Are you kidding me? Read the comments fucktard, you're the one that has been messaging me non-stop. I think you are truley fucked up. You may be suffering from schizophrenia. Better get yourself checked out. "resulted in you being recorded, traced, observed and filed (emails, cell and landline)." lol.. you're too much...lol. Get bent fucktard. You're a load your mom should have swallowed.

  • @upsdelivery Seriously I'm still laughing...lol.. "resulted in you being recorded, traced, observed and filed (emails, cell and landline)." lol.. I need a tissue. Thanks for the comic relief and for making my day.. you're just too much. Once again fucktard, you assume too much. This time WAY too much. Now, back to the couch moron and read your "Scientific American"..lol.

  • @upsdelivery There are other numerous, recent publications from Oxford University Press. Are you capable of making a decent effort to substantiate your claims in a professional manner? Are you capable of not using profanity and threats? Your efforts to debunk, or provide any factual evidence to repudiate the claims of another are not seen anywhere. The only effort you have made is to threaten people with profanity and dersion. You are the reason why so many people have this opinion about you.

  • @chrisperdicaro See.. you can't even do one thing you say you're going to do. You told me you were no longer going to reply, then send me another message asking me for more info. Buddy, you are utterly confused. You have a good grasph of the english language yet you fail to produce a single coherant statement. You talk about Oxford University Press with no reference. What publications are you referring to? Furthermore, what claims am I trying to debunk without factual evidence? You make no sense

  • @upsdelivery All you are capable of is ranting and raving using profanity. You threaten people overtly and privately via email. If you knew anything about the law, regardless where you live, threatening people via email is a criminal offence. You are incapable of having a debate. To you, everyone is assuming and are all inept compared to your "stellar" intelligence. You have taken no effort to substantiate your claims in a reasonable, logical and rational manner. I rest my case.

  • @chrisperdicaro I threaten people privately via email? What the fuck are you talking about? I'm seriously starting to believe you have some sort of mental issues. Please, tell me exactly what I said that constitues a threat? I am very capable and willing to have a debate. You, however, are making no sense, and I have yet to read one logical statement that you've made that is worth debating. You keep referring to my claims that I'm trying to substantiate. Exactly what claims are those Chris?

  • @chrisperdicaro "Now lets sit back and listen to the numerous credentials he claims to have to substantiate his claims that have no grounds." Firstly, I don't have to explain my credentials to you or anyone. Secondly, any and all claims I make can be substantiated. You have all the makings of a good officer though; you jump to conclusions right away and you make poor judgement calls, before you know any of the facts. If you're not a member already, I urge you to apply.

  • @upsdelivery For someone who claims to have the candid eye for making empirical observations to extrapolations and finally to inferences, you certainly make sweeping indictments against an entire group--regardless of their category. Lastly, I find it very hard for myself to stomach replying to someone who proudly displays our Canadian flag upside down in "protest". You disgust me with your ignorance and complete disrespect. You and your ilk are the chagrin of our beautiful country. Goodbye!

  • @chrisperdicaro "You and your ilk are the chagrin of our beautiful country." Chris... no one talks like that. Is this your pathetic attempt to aggrandize you vocabulary in an attempt to inveigle into thinking I'm talking to someone who is intelligent? Speak plainly and be heard numbskull. Also, why do you spend so much time reviewing comments I've made and going to my profile page. Is there some sort of twisted infatuation here? Are you a closet homosexual Chris? Sorry, but not interested.

  • OMFG WOOOO! MY UNCLE IS THE HEAD INSTURCTOR OF THE RCMP FIREARMS COURSE

  • those beds are a little too close together.

  • now i know the reason why they are unable to provied as security they are taught to clean there room

  • wow they teach how to clean there closet and use there washroom when they teach you to be police officer that time ur homes to clean thing not allowed to live there way wat a stupid academy they have

  • @kdfnkdsds Did you even listen to what she was saying? They're not just showing them how to standardize their quarters for giggles. It's to foster attention to detail so that they are used to inspecting things closely, which will benefit them in investigations. They also make them do it to maintain hygiene in the dorms. Every military in the world does the same thing. It's called attention to detail, and it's beneficial to have if you are a police officer.

  • Would someone please tell me if there is any age or Nationality limit?!

    Can someone join RCMP in the age above 36?!

    Could someone who was born outside of the Canada join RCMP?! Could Nationality or race become possibly a hinder?!

  • @2445781

    I'm pretty certain it's 18-65. I know someone who got through at age 56. Thirty-six is not that old.

    No, you do not have to be born in Canada but you do have to be a Canadian citizen.

    No, race or nationality will not hinder you in the least. That would be discriminatory.

  • @DrLeeX ;

    I truly appreciate your respond. I've heard that one who wants to join the RCMP must have at least been resident of Canad for 10 years! I've been in Canada only for 5 years! Would you have any comment to this case?!

  • @2445781

    It's not a requirement. In practice it may be though so I would contact a recruiter for specifics but I do not believe it will be an issue. Your application will likely take longer though as it will be more difficult to conduct your background checks/security screening.

    If you are serious about it, I would contact a recruiter. Google RCMP Recruitment and there's a "requirements" section. It also has a "contact a recruiter" link.

  • @DrLeeX ;

    I indeed appreciate it your respond. I've already contacted a recruiter officer .They told me the same thing that I just need to be a Canadian citizen. What I'm interested to know is that how long my security check would take since I was born outside of Canada!

    To be a police has always been my highest dream and goal in my life ever since I was a young boy! I deeply wish to be a police officer someday!

  • @2445781

    Probably about double the regular amount of time. The regular amount of time though is dynamic. It could be 1 month to 6 months depending on which division you are in, what country you're from, your priority rating (desirability), among other things.

    It's nothing I would let dissuade you from applying. After half a year, you'll seem less concerned with how much time is going by.

  • @DrLeeX ;

    I was born in Iran! I wouldn't really mind if the security check would be even longer than a year ,but hopefully not for a few years though as I'm getting older!

  • @chrisperdicaro :

    Thanks for the comment. As the matter of fact, I never claimed that RCMP is prejudice. Passing the RCMP test highly depends upon the certain individual's qualification.

  • @2445781 You are very welcome. I was not making any statements towards the RCMP that they are prejudice, nor of bad character or judgement. I was making a statement about some of the "cavemen" they have to deal with on a daily basis who are, unfortunately, members of the public. It is this ilk that can not think beyond the primal nature of the beasts of the field by being boorish, agressive and are incapable of civilized dialogue when approached by a police officer. Ft.Mac is a great example.

  • @chrisperdicaro :

    I understand your position. Unfortunately those kind of characters are found in every society. It's part of the challenge for a police officer to deal with that sort of people on daily basis.

  • @chrisperdicaro In life there will always be challenges, either by deliberate actions of others or simply by the order of life. I have faced discrimination and prejudice in areas of my life, even by some very credible people. However, this made me stronger. In life there will always be challenges, name calling or bullying. In reality, all it is just words. Life is tough. I am inspired by people who went through hell in life and still persevere and succeed. Education is power and it is victorious

  • @2445781 Are you kidding... if you're a minority and/or disabled, you in. Thats why we have so many fucktards in uniform. Thats also why we have such an increase in police brutality cases and investigation fuck-ups. Canada is all about affirmative action. We don't believe in "the best person for the job". Go talk to a recruitment officer today!!!

  • @upsdelivery ;

    I'm sorry ,but I think your comment sounds racist!!

  • @2445781 You should be sorry, and if you think that sounds racist then you're just plain stupid, which again, makes you more suited to become a "member" of Canada's largest unorganized gang. Its actually funny that you say my comment is racist. The FACT is that the Federal governement has a policy known as "employment equity groups". In simple terms, its means if you're a minority, native, or female you get the job. If you're white, you can't even apply. Now THAT is racist, and its the truth!

  • @upsdelivery My brother and his wife applied. He is a white guy with a degree in Criminology. His wife is medically diagnosed as being bi-polar with only a GED. The bitch is crazy. She told me she told the recruitment officer she could never shoot someone. They still hired her, but not my brother. What does that tell you? After depot, she discharged her firearm (accidentally) at a routine pullover for speeding. Then she quit, because she "couldn't handle giving a person a ticket". RCMP=Morons.

  • @upsdelivery ;

    At my current work place European-Canadians have the great chance to get hired and gain promotion easier than the immigrants who their level of education is higher than them! In every single place in which I've ever dropped my resume ,I always had the less chance to get hired than European-Canadians! Think through these realistic facts before giving your judgment!

  • @upsdelivery I do not believe a single word that comes out of your mouth. You are nothing but a hapless and hopless individual that spews nothing but spite and hate towards others without any sound, logical or rational argument! For a coward that disrespects our flag, you are in no position to criticize the R.C.M.P. and our newly landed immigrants! By the way, the R.C.M.P. are more accepting of them than you are! Everything you say has no plausability!

  • @upsdelivery ;

    Okay! I'm getting through you now! First of all ,try to learn some behavior that you probably missed to learn during your childhood! Respect is the obvious sign of maturity and it shows the level of wisdom.Furthermore ,there are so many discrimination going on in this country that you apparently choose to ignore that.Most immigrants who are highly educated come to Canada to fulfill their so-called dream ,but many of them do not succeed to obtain a suitable job to their background.

  • @2445781 Listen immigrant, I haven't insulted you in any way, yet you write these slanderous messages about me being childish and lacking wisdom. That just shows everyone how rude and ignorant immigrants are. My bet is your muslim. I mean you can't even write proper english and yet you claim to be educated. Like I said, the fact is that Canada does have a thing called "employment equity groups". Many federal jobs are only open to these groups. Caucasian males can not apply for these jobs.

  • @2445781 So that being said.. imagine if the federal government posted a job and said it was ONLY available to caucasian males. Everyone would be in an uproar and it would be on the cover of every newspaper. Most immigrants abuse the relaxed laws of Canada. I know if you read the facts, most of the gangs members here are immigrants. Immigrants are given every opportunity to succeed. If you don't like it here, fuck off and go back to the shit-hole country you came from.

  • @upsdelivery ;

    Now you racist man asking me to go back from where I came from?? Sure I got an answer for you!! First you go back to your Great Britain ,then I'll leave after you! And try to be more specific about your own background.You freaking calling yourselves a Caucasian (self North-American) ,but the Asian-Canadians whom some of them have been in Canada for decades are supposed to be called still an Asian! Ha?! That shows your pure discriminatory mind!! Shame on you!

  • @upsdelivery ;

    And for your information, I'm not a Muslim! I'm a Christian ,but I do recognize the full respect for every faith and background!

  • @2445781 Fuck you're stupid. I'm not from Britian. I'm anglo-saxon (German) by decent. We didn't make any treaties with indians. That was the british and french. I am not racist, and my wife is Lebanese. We both speak english, french, and arabic. I welcome any new immigrant who is looking to come to Canada to contribute and make it a better place. Canadian politics are racist, not me. My only point is that if new immigrants come here to exploit Canada, they are not welcome. Thats it.

  • @upsdelivery ;

    The reason I decided to immigrate to Canada was because I love Canada along with its culture,social system,its policy of freedom of speech and belief that it all fits in a democratic political entity ,and also its beautiful nature! The reason I left my previous country was because I was fed up with its wrong politics,culture in part and wrong religious matters! Therefore, now I'm in Canada as a proud Canadian citizen.And as I love my new country so much ,I've chosen to serve it.

  • @2445781 Listen, you do not have to prove yourself worthy to this imbecile. You do not have to stand privy to his claims nor his "sound" judgement. He is obviously an individual that has been relegated to the periphery of society due to his own ignorance by Canadians of all ethnic backgrounds--including white. And yes, individuals like him always claim to have access to arcane knowledge that is exclusive to "a select few".

  • @chrisperdicaro :

    I truly appreciate your support for the justice and equity. I believe that you got a point. People like that individual are only a few whom are obviously distinguishable from the rest of society. Luckily majority of our Canadian fellow citizens are so civilized and well behaved.

  • Comment removed

  • @upsdelivery I highly doubt your wife is Lebanese. The conjectures and vitriol that spews out of your mouth towards immigrants and anything that is not your perverted sense of "whiteness", I highly doubt any Lebanese woman would ever go near you. You are living in a fictious dream world due to the sanctions every decent member of society has put against you. The closest thing ever got to something Lebanese was a date with a "hookah"!

  • @2445781 that facts are that not all, but too many new immigrants come to Canada, and instead of making it a better place, they just look for a way to cheat the system, take government money they don't deserve, and commit crimes. I can give you many many examples, but there isn't enough room to talk about it here. I'm not saying all immigrants are like that, but many are. So again, if you're not coming here to make it a better place, just stay where you are. Are you smart enough to understand?

  • @upsdelivery ;

    Listen man! I understand part of your frustration towards immigrants ,but if we consider the matter from a more logical prospective ,we would conclude that not all immigrants are the same! There are organized crimes everywhere in the country.There are many criminal gangs that are also organized by the European-Canadians as well.As people from various backgrounds are involved in the gangs ,why not people from different backgrounds also join the police to fight the crime?!

  • @upsdelivery ;

    And yeah, as the matter of fact ,you're right about Germans.They never made any treaties with Natives. Anyways ,I'm 1/4 German myself! Since we both love Canada and we both are the fellow Canadian citizens, lets avoid the misunderstandings and instead work together as a same team to make our country a better and safer place to live for our families and future generations.

    In the end ,I apologize for the misunderstanding!

  • @upsdelivery What about the people who were born in Canada and still do nothing with their lives? What makes them any better than the people you are criticizing? What makes them so priviledged that they are free from scrutiny--especially yours!! I challenge you to actually enroll yourself into any university in Canada. Please take notice of how many sons and daughters of immigrants there are that are putting more papers on their wall than you could ever put in your toilet!!

  • @upsdelivery If most of the gangs are comprised of immigrants, then what ethnic group comprises of Canada's most largest and lethal bike gang? Are you not aware of the Hells Angels? Please inform me when the Hells Angels have inititiated their first turban-wearing member!

  • @2445781 Think about it. You left your country because people like you made your country into a desease ridden shit hole. Immigrants come here, and Canada is stupid enough to accept them, and they try to do the same things here that made their country so horrible. My family has been here for over 200 years. We made this country what it is, and yet I can't even get a federal job because of employment equity groups. Canadas going downhill now because of immigrants like you. Thats the truth.

  • @upsdelivery ;

    Hey White kid!! Put this right through your thick skull!! Canada does neither belong to you nor me! We all are immigrants. Some came earlier some later! Canada belongs to the Indian-natives whom were either mass murdered or were made drug-addicted by your racist great grant parents!! Shame on some shameless people like you who never feel ashamed for all that violation of human-rights!!

  • @2445781 ;

    And for your information ,I always wanted to serve the society to make it a safer place to live. As I could not serve the society in back home ,I decided to serve in the community of my new country ,Canada! Fighting and challenging with the racism is part of the service. the comments below were not generally referred to a nation or society as a whole ,but some individuals whom still believe in some anti-humanitarian ideology such as Nazism!

  • @upsdelivery ; By the way ,I missed to mention that Europeans like you also enslaved the Africans and colonized many other nations across the globe for centuries! When you freaking mess up with everyone is totally fine in your racist point of view ,but someone who brings up your past crimes against humanity is wrong!!

    Of course that now the society has changed and most Canadians or North-Americans do realize the humanitarian rights ,but the shadow of racism still lives among us!

  • @upsdelivery I totally dissagree. The R.C.M.P. would benefit as a whole if they raised the minimum requirements from a GED and/or high school diploma to a university degree from a recognized institutuion. In addition, raise the wages for those new graduates. If the RCMP wants to attract better recruits, they have to pay a lot better. As for making a sweeping indictment against minorities, to some degree you are correct. Go to any university campus and see who are the majority of graduates.

  • @chrisperdicaro You totally disagree? Where exactly did I say that the RCMP should keep the minimum requirements of having a GED? I'm a little confused at the moment because your statement appears as if I don't think they would benefit from recruiting University graduates. "As for making a sweeping indictment against minorities, to some degree you are correct." Where are you getting this? I think your comments were directed at someone else.

  • @upsdelivery The number of "minorities" who are graduating with post-second degree educations followed with masters, phds, b.a. m.e.d., degrees are minorities. In fact, they are starting to outnumber the degress earned compared to their hosts. If the RCMP wants to attract these graduates, they will have to raise their wages substantially. Besides, the majority of work performed by most constables is having to endure with disciplining the "great unwashed". It is a job that is very frustrating.

  • I'm seriously considering joining the RCMP. I have a bachelor's degree in political science, as well as a university certificate in public relations, but I've always had a dream to work in law enforcement. My biggest problem is that I'm 28 years old, and some people may feel that that's a little too old to wanna get into this line of work. Your thoughts?

  • @Forzaabruzzo i read somewhere that the average age of a cadet is 26 years old. i'd say go for it.

  • @Forzaabruzzo average age at training is 27 years.

  • @Forzaabruzzo

    That's actually the right age for the RCMP. They tend to take people in the mid to late 20s as opposed to municipal services that take slightly younger. Contrary to what was posted earlier many members are well educated and so a bit more of age.

  • LOL! I feel sorry for who ever's closet that lady was demonstrating of how things should be. "Meh kinda clean."

  • lol like wicked OCD shit haha

  • I'm a Canuck , nope, never been in trouble with the law.

    RCMP....? .What a sisck joke!

    Give 'em a tazer and they'll either zapp you or else they'll kill you.

    Corrupt top brass, and the with tazer happy mindless minions in their cruisers looking for another victim..

    Control freaks with an attitude.

    To all you potential tourists out there... stay away from Vancouver Int' Airport.... the RCMP still walk around there (and with tazers).

    Sadly, they are a joke that has become very sick.

  • @zrett7t cmon, these guys are getting charged and lost their jobs, dont blame 'em all..

  • Support our police

  • did that officer at 6:05 have a faux hawk ? thats dosent seem very cop like.

  • @samandcass probably not this video was filmed in the 90's well before fauxhawks

  • @upsdelivery ... My son graduated from Depot a year ago. Before he applied, he got his 2 year college certificate in Criminology as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Criminology. He is neither uneducated, not does he enforce laws he doesn't understand. Depot is six months of the most intense education and training anyone will ever experience and not everyone has what it takes to make it through ... you know nothing about what it's like there.

  • Even though you can apply at 19 I want to study in uni for 3-4 years . then join, will it do me any harm?long long is training?

  • @Rohan4basu In my opinion it would do you more good then bad. Unlike the police, the RCMP looks for more educated and more experienced people, not only physically advantaged ones.

  • The first thing i like to say to UP is, i actually had some respect for your opinion even though i disagree with them or not re: the RCMP. up until you said you been here and seen it first hand as a visitor...now i just think...(know) you just full of S**T! :) you have NO idea as to what goes on here. Through out training, we are taught to respect the public, to always put the need of the Canadian citizen first before our own needs. How fortunate for you that...

  • hell why you all hating the depot its better then what you learn to become a police officer via college and university all you do there is read and study you don't do any scenarios so you learn better and they do the same thing as a cop also when you people say its easy well there is a reason why not a lot of people get in

  • @soulQuency haha.... spoken like a true moron. all you need is a GED. And yes, depot is a joke. Unless you're a royal fcuk up, its almost impossible not to pass depot training. RCMP = a bunch of uneducated power trippers with a superiority complex who enforce laws that they don't even understand. They are people who have been given guns and badges who don't even have enough qualifications to get a job as a ditch digger or janitor.

  • @upsdelivery im assuming youve gone through DEPOT and have been given a job as an RCMP officer?

  • @upsdelivery ... My son graduated from Depot a year ago. Before he applied, he got his 2 year college certificate in Criminology as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Criminology. He is neither uneducated, not does he enforce laws he doesn't understand. Depot is six months of the most intense education and training anyone will ever experience and not everyone has what it takes to make it through ... you know nothing about what it's like there.

  • @trishelle101 Excellent! Your son is a stellar example of a modern, competitive and progressive R.C.M.P. officer. Our society desperately needs more constables and citizens of this quality. As far as I am concerned, we should banish all these cavemen who worship their beer and cage fighting mentality to a remote island. It is these idiots who think in terms of violence and agression to assert any status they have. I could care less if the cops zap those idiots to the moon.

  • @upsdelivery sounds like someone whos been given a speeding ticket recently. lol

  • @skitfel really... you actually commented on a question I left 7 months ago.. really? wow. well if it helps you sleep at night, the answer is no, I wasn't given a speeding ticket. I wasn't given any ticket, and I'm not a depot reject. I've never applied or had any interest to appy with the rcmp. I'd rather scoop my eyes out with a rusty spoon then work with those stupid fucks.

  • @upsdelivery yea i did. got a problem? and i dont believe that. you cant tell me youve never gotten a ticket for speeding. if youre not intersted in the rcmp then why are you hating on them so hardcore? seems like you got an inferiority issue with them :)

  • That woman is such a dyke.

  • wow.. blind leading the blind. you won't be stopping any crime. modern day rcmp are just an extention of revenue canada. you will spend you day giving out tickets. why do you think you never hear about white collar crime, major drug dealers, and corrupt politicians being arrested on the news? because there is no money in it. there are several rcmp members in my family. they say depot is a joke, and its basically a 6 month orgy where everyone cheats on their spouses waiting at home.

  • @upsdelivery

    Wow. why so bitter UP? i'm going to take a wild guest that you try and didn't get in? humm just imagine, if your statement is true...and any moron can get here and you didn't...hum...what does that make you? :) you have NO idea what goes on and happened in DEPOT...the dedication, the sacrifice, and the devotion one must have, not only to get here..but to stay and graduate...just remember one thing...when you need any kind of help...the ONLY people that will sacrifice their lives

  • @dannypanya Thats funny (and sad). That is the first thing EVERYONE says. "I tried and didn't get in". Next you'll get out your little rcmp starter kit and pull out your dictionary and use words to describe me like "confrontational, deceptive" haha. Its so sad. Fact is I've been to depot as a visitor. I've seen it first hand. However, I have never applied with the rcmp, so keep guessing.

  • depot is friggin joke. take some moron off the street with a GED, go through six months of preschool (i mean depot) and give them a gun and a badge and send them on thier way. these guys come out thinking they are "members" and everyone else is just a civilian. they have no concept of the law, and are put to duty to uphold laws they don't even understand. i wish i could admit that i was a kid or depot reject or something, but the fact is that this is coming from someone with that really knows.

  • hell ya. I wanna be there next year...stop all them fuckin crime commiters and try to make peace. and do the physical training of course....Im excited.

  • same, im hoping next year too. I am actually looking forward to the physical training!

  • watching this taught me alot i cant wait till im in there in a few years

  • I would rather that the RCMP learn how to do conflict resolution better. Instead of what they are teaching them now. How to iron your clothes and fold you bed?

  • @yojimbo123456 get more informed before leaving comments

  • yojimbo is spot on. That's how the military is as well. Way too much time and concern on stupid shit like your clothes being nice and proper. I just finished going through the police academy in Florida and we only spent four weeks combined on both firearms and defensive tactics. They were more concerned w/ how my uniform was pressed and cleaned rather than our skills at shooting and fighting. That's not just here either, that's everywhere and apparently Canada is no exception.

  • @truboricua its probably for tradition, respect and disciplinary reasons.

  • @truboricua the uniform details and what not is to build discipline, as well as it's designed to test your perception ability and ability to follow orders. In the military one example i heard from an officer was that they want us to get used to seeing fine detail because out on the field it will help you pick out things better like trip wires etc.

  • @truboricua they enforce that to train us to pay attention to details, to look for flaws and such. Its all in the discipline too, they want to break people and keep the one thats up for the job.

  • @truboricua

    You obviously shouldn't be part of a police force if you don't understand why they do that. Training is all about details, which is why your shirts have to be folded the exact way they teach you. On the field, such a small detail could be the difference between life or death. ( Safety switch on your pistol for example )

  • @truboricua It's called "discipline" and is essential.

  • it places the person in a state of mind when they can think clearly, if you can organize your bed, shelves and closet without even thinking about it, what else can you do? think about it. it Does apply to the real world.

  • I was in the military. RCR. I can say thats bullshit. Basic training is about breaking someone down to nothing, and building them back up. It goes way beyond what they try to do at depot. But after basic training in the military you have to go straight to battle school, and bud... you can't even imagine, unless you've been there. I do agree with you on depot though... its a friggin joke. my wife is a cop and just went through depot. they get taught to "uphold" a law they don't even understand.

  • FUCK THE MILLITARY. Its shit. YOU GO TO FUCKING AFGHANISTAN FOR NO FUCKING REASON. OHH RIGHT MONEY. FUCK THAT. RCMP IS SO MUCH BETTER.

  • @upsdelivery someone has a hate on......

  • Comment removed

  • Have some respect for these people. Most of you probably war us to dissolve our military too... Just because you don't have the balls to leave your suburb in brunaby does not give you the right to citizise outher people. If you were beaten who would you call, the RCMP. It is amazing what pressure will do so let's see you try had Hadle 6 moths of traning

  • i was thinking about doing this next year because im graduating this year and i like being organised it makes me think clearly and relaxes me but i am afraid of not getting everything perfect. unless they give you like a week of so to work on it before they expect you to be perfect. is their like an age limit?

  • from what i heard its 19 but you can apply at 18

  • I hope that Mike Silesky retired. BOOOOOORRRRRINING!

    That guy has about as much personality as a dead monkey's penis.

  • snoreboard! a bed?

  • faggot

  • your a fucking idiot, look at your comment and think how immature and irrational that would be!

  • haha... snoreboard.

  • man i dont want to be in that dorm

  • Harass any gay men out of their jobs lately.Explain to the public the real reason you have started using the polygraph on your applicants.

  • Well why are you still there if you hate it?

  • Actually I did not bash anyone.I stated a truth of which their is alot of evidence in rcmp history to prove it.Go educate yourself on the dirty history of this(your?) sub-standard police force before you call me anything!

  • A tool? wow! Don't use such intelligent words when you call me names.People might think your smart...constable.

  • Judging from the raincoat I would say mid 90's as that was what issued to me and she was also my drill Cpl for awhile!

  • BASKETBALL!

  • What year would this have been?

    I'm guessing that it was in the mid to late 1990s - Maybe 1996 / 1997?

  • what requirements do i need to become rcmp

    do i just have to finish high school at college lvl classes with Cs or bettr or do u need police experience before u join

  • Just a regular high school diploma

  • Everything has to be top notch. Like EVERYTHING

  • Comment removed

  • Ah Our Sergeant has three chevrons, and Staff has the three chevrons with a crown on the top

  • Isn't SILESKY at the beginning of the video a Staff Sergeant, not a Sergeant?

  • No he is a Sgt. 3 chevrons and a crown, a staff has four upside down chevrons no crown

  • do get ur own bathroom?

  • Spoken like a true close minded idiot. Show some damned respect for the people that keep the streets clean and safe, I'd like to see your high and mighty self get through depot. You probly wouldn't even make it a month you shit pump.

  • coming from someone who pas probably denied to join.

  • anyone know whats the standard pistol the rcmp uses?

  • RCMP standard sidearm is the SW 5946 in Stainless or the Single stack version. They also issue the black version to the ERT, who used to have Sig 226's.
