I read the book in my sophmore year in college for an English course I took. We watched this interview in class, and I almost cried just like the other kids in class. I wish I could've met him. I was only 5 years old when he died. See you on the other side Morrie.

morrie really touched my heart after i read the book and it changed me forever. i definitely havent gotten over the "fear" of death and dying in general entirely but it's something that he really has taught me to work on. maybe life and death is just a little bridge over a river and not a huge chasm in between like he said. what a great man. he is truly immortal in the sense that his wisdom and words will never die.
