  • hay senin konuşma tarzını sikeyim amk götü sikişiyomusun amk

  • That would sound nice for the LED ZEPPLIN song ALL OF MY LOVE!!!

  • After I bought EWQL SO I have not used Session Strings once and probably never will again. Save you money for a top quality library instead.

  • @Lindahl two totally different libraries, if you are looking for big orchestral strings, do not buy session strings, it's a more dry, studio style sound. It's not going to compete with an orchestral library in my opinion.

  • @SoundsAndGear True, its just easy to misstake it for a natural string library when it has a more imo unrealistic popish sound to it. But of course it comes down to personal taste and use.

  • @Lindahl well, they pretty much marketed it as a pop/disco sound :)

  • @Joesoj how is getting free samples/software going to educate anybody?

  • @MRDOCTORGONZO1971 no problem bro

  • @MRDOCTORGONZO1971 suite comes with all the instruments and devices, so if you want all the stuff like sampler, operator, tension, analog, and all the extra sample based instruments, go for suite. If you just want the daw and not the extra devices, go with 8. I have Live 8 and not suite personally.

  • i mthinking about to buy NI komplete8. kontakt 5 is included so these soudns are included in kontakt 5?

  • @Bassbox93 these sounds are not part of the default kontakt 5 library but sessions strings pro comes in komplete 8 ultimate

  • I am thinking of buying Komplete 8 Ultimate Standard Version. I was under the impression that Kontakt 5, which is included in that collection, would feature VSL strings and horns--am I wrong about that?

I would still think that Komplete 8 has an awful lot to offer--including its own strings and horns--

    Just wondering...

Does anyone know just what all K. 8 U. S. V. features as far as strings and horns?

    Thanks for any response....

  • @derek4ur there is no ultimate standard version, there's just k8 and k8u, yes kontakt 5 includes some vsl orchestral stuff, it's from one of their older collections but still usable. Then you get session strings pro, which is the larger version of what's in this video.

  • @SoundsAndGear Thanks very much--all in all, you get a terrific strings/orchestral library...(it would seem)

  • @derek4ur glad to help fam

  • to sterile for me...

  • @MRJAF0 good news!

  • @lMJAFO check the settings on your mbox, you may need to increase your buffer size a bit higher, especially if using patches with reverb on them, etc.

  • @IMJAF0 could be your latency/buffer settings on your soundcard. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause that. I don't have the pro version yet, but that's what it sounds like. Or maybe you're running out of ram. Does it only happen with session strings?

  • I bought the original session strings, it's fantastic.

I would upgrade but it way to expensive.

    I was expecting a 79 euro upgrade or even 50 :S

    It's more like 200

  • @Harrysound yeah I dunno, it's a lot of space and even though I thought the first one was cool, not sure I'd want a part two.

  • @TheMusicDude1997 or To all FL Studio Producer...Hi, would you happen to know if SessionStrings is compatible with FruityLoops Studio??? If Yes, How could I install this onto FL Studio???

  • @thc420xtac yes, you run it in kontakt player or the full version of kontakt, which loads as a vst in flstudio

  • @SoundsAndGear Thank you for replying...I was wondering if you could do a tutorial / how to video on Installing String Session as a VST for FL Studio

  • @thc420xtac I don't use flstudio, but you install like any other plugin. Install the product, then point flstudio to whever you put the plugin file, kontakt.dll is the plugin. Most have a central folder for plugins, I think flstdudio has a plugins folder, you can put it in there.

  • DOES THIS PROGRAM HAVE A BRASS OR TRUMPET INS. EVEN THOUGH ITS CALLED SESSION STRINGS...THNX

  • @arcadeMUZIK1 no, it's a string library

  • Hello ! I've got i BIG problem. everytime i go to Garageband and open a project that has session strings in it it gives me this message : Loading 'instruments has failed, as their libraries aren't installed on this computer.

and I cant register it as well =(

HELP FROM ANYONE WILL BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED !

  • @TheMusicDude1997 u need a better DAW. Session strings moraly should not be played in garange band. try fl studio! haha

  • @TheMusicDude1997 tell kontakt where the library is, you can remove it and re add it. As far as not being able to register, not sure about that, it should be registered in service center, you may need to contact NI support

  • @TheMusicDude1997 did you buy it or just download a torrent somwhere.. that may be your problem

  • @TOPCHOICE29 EWQL has a choir vst .. quite steep in price but it can sing text that is typed in

  • can the phrase be automated?? staccato to pizzicato ,, back and forth....etc??...

  • @C0LLaT3RaL I don't think so, I think it was a request when this came out but I'm not sure, I'd have to check it again.

  • @SoundsAndGear theyy need to look into thattt, would make it the best string libraryy, rather than having some 20 gb of strings O_o

  • @C0LLaT3RaL I feel you fam lol

  • I would categorize Ni SS alongside the toy casio's and yamaha's you play with at wal mart and sams club.

I suggest this for toying around or laying demos 4 fun on your computer but for production. No Way!

If you want something with some REAL string sounds for production I suggest LA strings and EWQL. Those two have rich sound that sound exactly like it's coming off a violin and cello. Those two worked perfectly for me. Opinions may vary but I am just being real from the heart so peace.

  • @cyberhmoob yep, they are both dope libraries, I really don't dig the east west stuff but lass is nice, I like kirk hunter too, and some of the vsl stuff. I find the east west to have too much ambiance printed into the samples. I wouldn't even put these strings in that category though, they aren't even trying to be the same thing.

  • @SoundsAndGear I agree with you. On a NOTE I think it didn't work for me because my music tended to be very thick and SS didn't bite through very well but yeah I think all 3 of them are in a category of their own.

  • @cyberhmoob yeah I agree, these aren't really something you'd use for "main event" strings, I tend to see them as "background" pads really, not something where strings are the main theme. They say they are more pop, I don't know, but they definitely aren't made for big orchestral sounds. Like you said, they don't "bite" enough. But cool for what they are.

  • just bought Komplete 7, can't wait for it to get here

doing my cooking dance right now and i don't even like lil'b

  • @gageishere ahahahaha, no doubt fam lol

  • Shession Shtrings....:P

  • can you automate the groove and dynamic knobs or do you have to open more than one kontact?

  • @KINGxUxTUBE you can assign the knobs to a midi cc to automate with your controller/host

  • @SoundsAndGear

HEEEEEEELP! I can't open open Session Strings! How did you open Session Strings?! PLEASE COMMENT ME, SoundsAndGear.

  • @theiammike123 make sure you have the latest kontakt version, check service center to be sure.

  • @theiammike123 have the kontact player installed its freee on the NI website then goto the Service Center intalled with it, use the Key emailed to you when u bought it and activate it

  • I use Kontakt 4.0. And I want to load them. But I can't. Why?

Do you know how to load the nki. presets?

  • i went to the website and got kontact 4 i got some files but how do i load them in kontact

  • @DJDangerBeatz once you run the installer they will show up, or in kontakt in the library tab just select "add new library" and point to the folder you installed these in.

  • Just got this. Word of warning: There aren't any key-switches like in the Kontakt 4 orchestral patches, which makes it a bit of a bother to use if you want to sequence changes between articulations. :)

  • @nickweston can i ask how is it possible for ppl to get away with downloading? i thought you require a license. Use of samples are prohibited in film/tv or commercial uses without it..so way are jerk offs not getting sued? I never hear of any successful cases...don't NI hire ppl to hear out for their samples??? Wait a min, it must be that they have no talent..therefore no chance of getting their music published. So they don't worry. that must be it.

  • At first I tried to download this but after hearing this im gonna go & buy it asap

  • @OfficialTechnician good :)

  • @SoundsAndGear me too! And the reason is plain and simple, it'll be for professional use, therefore license required!

  • Nice review, covered all the main parts and sounds of the library with well paced commentary. Thanks for taking the time to post it, reckon I might just spend that Xmas voucher NI sent me on this.

  • @MrClarkio thanks for watching, and it's always nice to have a voucher!

  • @MrClarkio Pls may i have your voucher, thank you for being so understanding.

  • @bally28 Sorry already used it on this product and deleted the email it came with. Have a search round though and keep checking NI, they seem to be having quite a lot of offers these days.

  • I don't like this sounds... When there are lot of violins, the sound is not realist!

That's so light... Identik from edirol...

  • @chasseurdechasseur57 cool lol, they are supposed to be more along the lines of the disco/pop sounding strings as opposed to some straight orchestral sounding stuff. Like anything else, everyone has different tastes, these don't seem to be what you're looking for.

  • @SoundsAndGear It's just for the tastes, but in our time, business factory will do better that ! I do not agree with the theory of the musical style, it"s a bad argument...

  • @compositeur57 uhhh okay, don't know what you want me to say lol, if you don't understand how sounds can be geared towards a specific genre of music, we have nothing more to discuss, thanks for the comments...

  • wait.. can i run this as a vst in FL9? (yes im a loser like that). i dont get this kontakt crap or whatever.

    please answer/explain

  • @BackBurner144 it's a plugin, if you can use plugins in FL you can use this. Kontakt is a plugin as is the free Kontakt Player that comes with this product.

  • @SoundsAndGear sweet thanks for such a quick response!

  • @BackBurner144 no problem, should be fine for you in FL since it can load vst plugins.

  • Nice display of all the articulation and such.

I'm probably going to get this myself, depending on how some testing with other libraries in the next few weeks goes.

  • @Xenocidebot cool, they are some cool strings for that specific sound.

  • is session strings worth the money if you already have kontakt's strings? i have this voucher from komplete and im wondering what to do with it, that is if komplete ever finishes installing haha.

  • @mattrozak they are two different styles, kontakt's factory strings are more orchestral/symphonic and these have more of a pop/disco vibe to them.

  • does any1 have the serial number for this

  • @blazemizzle yeah, native instruments has it in their store or any other store that sells it will have it, you'll get it when you purchase it....

  • @blazemizzle so 30 people work for months to create this and you think you should get it for free? It's this attitude of entitlement that is ruining music, software, publishing and film. Go get a job and buy it sonny boy...

  • @nickweston The music and film industry has become exploitative bullshit. Don't preach mate. I personally prefer to pay for things but just don't preach, the poor need to educate themselves anyway they can!

  • Session strings is good to have if you are doing a hip hop, pop, rnb and the like and you want a some nice strings to spice it up without spending 4 figures. It's also a better alternative to aampling string lines from records. It is very good purpose built library

  • @MrInstrumentalist you are correct, nice simple library for some good string sounds.

  • @MrInstrumentalist bullshit, can use for films...use only restricted by imagination and talent.

  • @bally28 Use of proper grammar seems to be restricted those of us that finished school .

  • @MrInstrumentalist haha check your own grammar out!!! haha

Anyway it's not grammar that concerns me old chap...it's talent! haha

  • I like how you handle the negative trolls with grace and diplomacy. You are good people in my book bro

  • @MrInstrumentalist thanks for the support

  • it is only for Kontakt 4 ?

    Thanks

  • @4everXproject and the free kontakt 4 player

  • Can you put some strings on a hip hop soul track I am working on pls ?

  • @trulynot thanks for the offer but no.

  • @SoundsAndGear - Why such a straight up no ? I could have been Kanye incognito.

  • @trulynot how about because it's not something I'm interested in doing? It wouldn't matter if you were Kanye "incognito" you're assuming I have a desire to work with him lol, I do not. Not everyone that does music has the same goals and desires that's all, nothing personal lol.

  • @SoundsAndGear Ok ok ok , forget Kanye, who do you want to work with ? I could be that person "incognito". I could be your ex wife looking for signs of change in the vain hope that you have change, looking to give you a second chance. Now you will never know. PLUS you missed out on a whacking some strings down on a great Massive Attack Unfinished Sympathy style track. So puck you and your funny voice.

  • @trulynot hahahaha, I don't have an ex wife, happily married. Don't be mad that I don't want to work with you man, move on, stop trolling youtube to find someone to "play strings on your track " lol. Go out, buy the program, and play them yourself. The people I want to work with, I work with.

  • @SoundsAndGear I am not trolling, I can afford SS but I dont have the bandwidth, we dont have T1 in Australia and NI dont offer it has a box set.

You are being mean to me. :(

  • @trulynot actually I am not being mean, I was simply answering the question, then you got mad when I told you no, and started talking about my ex wife and my funny voice lol. I told you it wasn't anything personal when I said no, it's just something I wasn't interested in doing is all. It's not that serious man. I'm just not into random collaborations is all, like I said, nothing personal at all. If it's really an issue of bandwidth, hit me with a private message.

  • This guys voice is slightly irritating. Good information though.

  • @BonzoMuse lol, thanks for watching man lol

  • @SoundsAndGear Good videos all round man. You reckon the pros would use this?

  • @BonzoMuse I would imagine so, I think now days we all use the same products pretty much. It may not be the "go to" for exact realistic string orchestrations, but for what it's used for, pop/urban string sections, it's good.

  • whoa...hold on a min! whats the specs of your computer and memory?? when i load the samples it takes my laptop 10-14 secs to load.! yours takes less than a 100th of a sec! something is wrong..

  • @bally28 did you batch resave the library in kontakt 4.1 yet? It optimizes it and uses background loading lol. I have an i7 with 12gb ram

  • I HATE How They Don't Have This In WAV. Format!

  • @TheGift716 it wouldn't be very useful in wave format though, the beauty comes from the actual multi samples and kontakt programing,

  • @SoundsAndGear Ok I Got You.

  • @TheGift716 no doubt yo

  • what keyboards does kontakt work for?

  • i could have a lot of fun with one of those

  • @firehandszarb no doubt yo, thanks for watchin.

  • @SoundsAndGear it's a virtual instrument, works with any keyboard you have hooked up to your computer

  • those strings would be real good with rnb or hip hop im feeling it !

  • @KIDTRACKz right, they fit into that style of production very well in my opinion, thanks for watchin.

  • I was thinking about getting this, but with your review you help push me over the edge. I will pick it up really soon. Too bad its not as good as EastWest Hollywood Strings, but it works for R&B and Pop music. Thanks again! You are always helpful with your reviews!

  • @gclef101 yeah it's not the same league as HS or other large libraries, but it works really good for production, whereas those others are awesome for straight up solo string, or string heavy orchestration

of course anything can be used in any situation, but HS is like 1300 or something lol, this is 120 bucks :) Majority of producers will probably go with something like this, unless they really need the hollywood sound of bigger libraries.

    thanks for watchin!
