  • you can tell his pedal is not all the way to the floor. i have this car and the rpm's when you're flooring it goes to about 6900. really enjoy driving this car though, fast as fuck for a 4cyl and fun to drive. this car could dust some v6's when it comes to the 0-60.

  • For th VW haters!!! I have owned a VW Gold GTI for 4 years...it was smooth and never gave me any problems I was pushing it hard as well. Dont talk crap about any car before you know how it is.

  • VW!!!! The best transmission ON THE PLANET = DSG. No one can touch it. No one. The worlds fastest and smoothest... found on a VW!!!

  • 30 mpg?

  • Damn Very fast look like 5.9 secs

  • i really quite like the look of the CC, now after watching this video i really like the sound of that engine too

  • This is VOLKSWAGEN...not some pos caddy or chrysler...

  • @MrCosmin94 This is VOLKSWAGEN, so it will be on the side of the road within weeks and it will fall apart in a few minutes.

  • @Motorfordtoyota you are from another world?

  • @MrCosmin94 Nope, every single Volswagen I have ever been around (Which includes everythingd from a Golf to a Passat) are in the shoop every week. Our neighbor's Cabrio has gone through 4 engines in around 15,000 miles.

  • you can get less than 7 seconds in perfect conditions.

    Source : CC owner

  • the Pasat CC is a Great Sedan....Great Looking and quick as Hell.

  • the vr6 is so much faster.

  • @peeonu25 even the diesel is faster then this.

  • 6.5s. Damn fast for a 4cyl. Then again it's got a turbo and an awesome atx trans.

  • 6.28 sec

  • The best looking VW

  • just wondering what the difference between sport move is on the automatic

  • @william13pablo Sport mode make the car down shift really easy just tapping the gas will make it drop a gear it also makes it stay in its current gear longer then it would if it was in drive.

  • damn that is fast

  • would you guys recomend the 2.0 cc im thinking of getting one

  • @william13pablo i just bought one i will say its the best car ive ever had

  • My CC would peel the hell out if i did that..im assuming your not flooring the gas pedal?

  • @rrange This was WOT. Guess I got lucky. =) 6.49 without a launch ain't too shabby.

  • @mpgomatic

wtf is this done indoors, no way a CC could get less than 7 or 7.5 seconds given it's weight.

  • @kenmastersmaster Actually...it can. I have a 2010 Passat Sedan, and my 0-60 is 6.7. 2010's have a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, so no torque converter that saps away power. 2009 have a normal 6 speed auto, so a 0-60 of 7-7.5 seconds is quite attainable. Not to mention that max torque is available from 1700-5000 rpm.

  • @mpgomatic looked like 6 sec nice

  • @mpgomatic looked like 6 sec nice the nice thing about WV is you feel the power from 0-140mph

  • @rrange i can peel out in any stick lol just a matter of knowing when to let the clutch out..well not any car..any car worth driving ahaha

  • @rrange Sounds like you have really shitty tires!

  • The CC is pretty fast; I didn't know it was this fast.

  • nice glad to see another cc owner, so rare.... looking to mod but very difficult to find anything. any cc enthusiasts out there!?

  • 0-60: 6.4 sec

  • WOW its well resualt for 200 horse !!!!!!!

  • People who say "Epic Fail" are gay.

  • @MrFuroius1972 EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL EPIC FAIL

  • Funny thing, the 2010 Dodge Challenger 3,5 V6 does 0-60 in over 9 seconds, and it's actually lighter than this VW. Talk about EPIC FAIL.

Not to mention getting little over 200hp in a 3,5 V6 is a disgrace.

USA has SO much catching up to do.

  • Actually, it does it in 7.5. It puts out 250 horsepower and 250 lb/ft of torque. Maybe you're thinking of the 2.7? It isn't offered in the Challenger.

  • @humanparody12 hehe. I have a jeep that puts out 230 pounds of torque with the inline 6 and i get 7.4 seconds 0-60

  • why put 180mph on a 200hp car

  • And it is limited to 135! Why not do 140?

  • @yessuh87 hmmm you have a great point.

  • volkswagen puts the same dials on a lot of their cars to cut costs

  • das auto

  • 0-60mph around 6 yo 7 seconds, that's quite good.

  • awesome

  • Hoping that these kind of gas engine change the stupid fashion of smelly shitty diesel engine we have in europe!!

  • 0-60mph in 6.4seconds, that's the time a Mazda 6 will do with the 3.6l V6 hahaha :D

  • Damn that's fast for a 2.0L 4cyl in such a big car.

  • ive driven one before and 60-80 mph is almost instant.

  • @palebeachbum 2.0 turbo, don't forget that

  • @palebeachbum actually weighs just a little more then the gti. so its almost got gti performance (:

  • @palebeachbum Well hell, as a VW owner I can attest they know how to wring the most speed out of the least power. My little 150hp can move my 3200lb Jetta to 60 in low 8s with an AUTO. And the "mere" 200hp of a Jetta GLI can match most Japanese V6s with much more power...and get more mpg doing it, to the tune of 32hwy, the GLI does it in like 6.7sec, and the fastest Japanese FWD car is like 6.2...but then VW breaks out it's 3.6VR6 and, together with 4motion, puts up a 5.7 sec run...RX8 speed.

  • @palebeachbum it's all in the transmission

  • how come the 3.6 engine is so slow in america? in europe it does 0-60 in 5.6 sec and has 300bhp and not just 280

  • It's slower because American cars need to have less emissions and therefore making the exhaust and fuel systems much more restrictive.

  • @bajs333 It's not slow for such a big car, you can check out a couple of the videos that I had.. it's not fast either.. but not slow that's for sure.

  • well okay, its not slow but its slower than the european version of the motor and i just wondered why.

  • @bajs333 That's because the european version of the car has DSG and the US version doesn't have it.

  • okay. why not 300 instead of 280bhp?

  • @bajs333 Dont know, maybe something has to do with it being a US model. But with revo chip you'll be at european level.

  • @ichiban929 The new 2010 model year now features a DSG on the U.S. spec CC

  • @SUM414243444546 Only the 2.0t models. still no DSG available for the 3.6 models.

  • its actually 5.74

  • Is this a 2 litre petrol engine with 150 kW/ 200 hp?

And I measured this time several times and the average 0-60 time is 6.8-6.9 seconds.

Pretty fast for such a heavy car and a small displacement engine

  • look at the rpm meter!!! you never won´t have 7000 with a diesel!! it´s a gas engine

  • Wow, who needs the 6 cylinder? I think this turbo 4 is more than adequate.

  • got 60 in 6.34 secs

  • That's fast for a big sedan/coupe 4cc.

  • I want one of these so bad!!!

  • damn 180 mph

  • just b/c the speedometer says 180 mph, doesnt mean this car can go 180 mph lol. This four-banger (although very peppy at low speed) would probably not make it much past 140 mph

  • I bet this car could easily do 160. Even big SUVs and pickups, if they didn't have speed limiters, could probably do at least 140.

  • this car has 200 hp dude. a 1999 Toyota Solara V-6 has 200 hp. Do you think a 1999 Toyota Solara could easily do 160? Or, ok, to account for aerodynamic differences, even 150?

  • 4MATICbenz youre absolutely correct..

  • you dont know a shit what you talking about

my lame octavia 1.9 tdi 90 hp do 200km/h

  • i know exactly what im talking about. I deal with vehicular top speeds alot.

Plus, i find your claim of 200km/h very hard to believe.

  • That car is SOOOO much faster than a 4 cylinder Camry ... the difference is incredible

  • @maxou5757 Camrys don't have turbos either....

  • @tCson so what ? it's a smaller engine and it's MILESSSSS faster.

  • @maxou5757 Yes its faster, because it has a TURBO you idiot! Put the same size turbo on a Camry 4 cylinder and I bet it'll be just as fast

  • @tCson yes and it's still a smaller engine.

but yea it's faster so who gives a shit about the turbo it's the results that count.

  • @maxou5757 But if it didn't have the turbo it would be just as slow or even slower than a 4 cylinder Camry, thats the point I'm trying to make but you don't seem to comprehend that

  • @tCson Go away.. Really who cares about a 2.4 camry.. Remember if this car did not have a turbo i am sure VW would have geared it different to make use of all 2 liters... even in the lighter Scion TC with the camry 2.4L engine it still takes it 8 seconds to get to 60. A new Jetta 2.5L can beat that.

  • @2001jeepXJ A Scion tC does 0-60 in 7.4, not a big difference but still not 8 seconds, and the Jetta 2.5 should be faster seeing as how it has 170 hp; and if you paid any attention the point I was trying to make is that with that turbo the 2.0 would be just as slow as as the 2.4 if not slower.

  • @maxou5757 I think it's the weight :D

  • @maxou5757 I bet if you turboed a camry it would be that fast too...

  • @SnizzFizz but its not turbo so get over it, thanks.

  • @SnizzFizz Yea but it would last 5000 kilometers and it would consume 15 liter of fuel / 100km. This will last for 400 000 kilometers and it consumes 8 liters / 100km. This is one of the most modern engines in the world, the one in camry is 20 years old with some minor changes.

  • @maxou5757 VW > Toyota

  • APR chip tuning gives CC 250HP and 297 torque.

CC should go as fast as a Porsche Cayman with tht.

  • i think don't have turbo, if outlander CVT or no ?

  • woow, fast yea, this car have turbo ? SUV yeah ?

  • Turbo yes, SUV no. :)

  • Damn, this thing is about a half-second quicker than my Accord V6. The sad part is, my Accord is only about 50 lbs heavier, yet has 44 more horsepower (and another 5-10 on top of that with premium in the tank). The Passat CC is damn quick for a 3400-lb car with only 200 HP and 207 TQ and an automatic tranny. It has to be under-rated...

  • THe passat's turbo is very picky about the gas used cause if i put regular in my tank ill get 0-60MPH in 6.5 but if i put premium ill get 0-60 i 6.0 or even 5.8 with V-Power!

  • That's because it has high compression for a turbo car, 10.3 to 1.

  • wow! a 4-banger that gets to 60 in sub 6.5 sec. Im very impressed

  • lol

    STI= 4 banger... 0-60 4.8 stock

  • yeah but that's a rally car. I dont count rally cars (Impreza, Lancer, MS3). I dont know of any midsize 4banger cars that are this quick (besides the other VW.Audi 2.0T models)

  • All GM would have to do is drop the 2.0 ecotec into the G6 or Malibu and they would be pulling 5.8 seconds to 60, like they are now with the less powerful 3.6. IMO the should have gone with the 2.0L since they had some objections to dropping the 304hp DI version of the 3.6 into those cars

  • i agree

  • how can you not count an sti? i drive one everyday, its a street car?

  • ur dumb

  • 6.2 Seconds to 60 MPH

  • Hard to believe this is a 4-banger and a torque converter based 6spd auto. Its sounds like a refined V6 and shifts like a liquid smooth DSG. My new favorite Volkswagen!!

  • Volkswagen has some of the best instrument clusters in the business

  • direct injection FTW

  • No this one doesn't have DSG!

  • Nice, aren' these the Mercedes knockoffs, though?

  • Nice!! Can't wait to see the full review
