All my feelings are about the comparison is that modern day incarnations do not pay the respect to the history. Grace Jones had little real commercial success. It was a devoted group of fans over a very long career which kept her music alive. Grace Jones and Cher were most likely the reason Nicki Manaj, Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga enjoy success with their style. I think its time for a 2012 Grace Jones album produced by Skrillex. +-)
